About this apartment rental

Rare à cassis :

in privileged area, a garden level appartment in a villa built by a pupil of Le Corbusier, recently renovated, on the countryside, quiet, clear view of the vineyards, Cap Canaille and Massif des Calanques, vast garden and private parking place, 10min (gentle slope!) walking distance from the center of Cassis, from the harbour and the beach, direct access to the “route des Crêtes”, and 30 minutes walk to the first calanque! Apartment for 4 people, ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. WIFI.

Advantages of this place:

1. The garden : table and benches for eating outside, in the shadow of a large sunshade, under trees, with view to wineyards, Calanques and Cap Canaille. In a Sofa or the hammock, you will enjoy the quiet, while children will enjoy the outdoor games (garden house, playground slide, swing ...);

2. The proximity of the center of the village, so you can walk up to the beach, shops, restaurants or other proposed activities. 2 basic mountain bikes at your disposal.

3. A private parking place right outside the apartment avoiding the concern to park his car in Cassis.

Apartment description:

- Beautiful 28 m2 main room with kitchen, dining area and lounge:
Modern kitchen with central island around which it is possible to have meals, fully equipped with cooker, multifunction oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, mixer, blender, pressure cooker... You can also use the powerful electric Weber grill in front of the apartment for your grill!
Dining room with round table and 4 chairs.
The living room has a couch, two armchairs, TV and a DVD player as well as DVDs;

- Bathroom with bath (shower curtain to allow to take a shower) , towel drying heater, washing machine, hairdryer;

- Separate toilet with washbasin;

- Numerous cupboards; iron, clothes lines, vacuum cleaner, board games, fire extinguisher.

- Rooms: a bedroom with a double bed (160x190), two bedside tables with lamps, cupboard, view to the garden; This room gives access to a smaller room (ideal for children) which has two bunk beds (90x180) and an additional bed under the bottom bunk. Each bed has a mattress protector and a bedspread, as well as two covers (a wool and fleece), 1 pillow.

For baby: a cot is also available for your baby and a high chair, a baby bath, a baby-changing mattress and baby carrier to avoid you to take them in your luggage. A “car seat” is also available if you come by plane or train.

For your children, besides the outdoor games mentioned above, there are books and games for them in the small room of children;

Note that the heating is produced by a boiler that functions with wood pellets, that the water is heated by solar panels, and that it will be possible for you to sort your recyclable packaging for a greener stay!

Important :

-the residence taxes (€1.6 per adult and per day) are already included in the price of your rental.

-Note that a deposit of 500 euros will be requested on your arrival, in cash; This will be returned (if no damage) no later than 14 days after the end of the stay.

-To make your holiday easier bed sheets and pillowcases are provided to you at your arrival as well as the towels (a large towel and a small towel per person, and two kitchen towels). The cleaning of the apartment at the end of your stay is also included in the price.

Everything in Cassis is within walking distance: the beach, the port, the full of charm narrow streets, a beautiful playground for children in the center of the village, many shops (including grocery, bakery), market every Wednesday and Friday; enjoy in one of the many restaurants specialties from Provence (La Bouillabaisse, fish soup, the Aioli) accompanied by a glass of local white wine (AOC Cassis, 1936). A museum, a cinema, numerous water and land sports and cultural activities, nothing is missing!
Cassis is mainly famous for its creeks (Calanques), among the most beautiful in the world. You can discover them either by walking or by boat from the port of Cassis.

We couldn't have been luckier to have found this gorgeous apartment. Nathalie, the owner, is wonderfully welcoming and helpful. 15 mins easy walk to the beach, village centre. harbour etc. Although this is the ground floor of the owner's house, there is a separate entrance and the garden is secluded and private. The apartment is so well equipped that I could not think of anything that we needed extra! Thank you to the Berna family for making our holiday so memorable.

This lovely apartment is very well situated and well equipped, the whole property having been designed to create a light, airy, shady space.The views are spectacular and the garden is huge and perfect for relaxing in or for children to play in, or both (it isn't very grassy, but this is normal in such hot climates and the garden is beautiful and very well kept). In fact it can be very pleasant to spend a whole lazy day just hanging around the garden and the flat, gazing on the vineyards from the comfort of the hammock or the outdoor sofa! The beaches and shops are all in easy walking distance and the lesser known beaches such as Plage du Corton are also close by and worth checking out. The hosts, who speak very good English, are incredibly friendly, warm, helpful and welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our car-free stay easier - they are always on hand if needed but one doesn't feel at all as if one is a lodger in a house - the apartment is very separate from the rest of the house and garden is quite private. The fact that Domaine du Bagnol, one of the justifiably famous Cassis wine-making estates, is just across the road, is an added benefit - the vineyard makes for a picturesque view from the garden, but even better - excellent wine can be purchased directly from the vineyard shop with is 5 minutes walk from the apartment ;).

Location au top: très bien équipée, comme à la maison! Et très pratique surtout avec des enfants (2 et 5 ans) :lit parapluie, pot, adaptateur, chaise haute, rehausseur, jouets, livres... Tout y est. Logement vraiment clean/propre. L'appartement est très agréable et bien situé (10 min à pied du centre et de la plage). Tout à proximité: boulangeries, commerces, glaciers, restaurants... Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine et nos filles ont été ravies !!! Merci Nathalie pour l'accueil. L'apéritif surprise nous a mis tout de suite dans l'ambiance des vacances 🌴.

L'accueil de Nathalie était vraiment très agréable. Elle nous a donné plein d'idées pour découvrir la région et nous avait laissé pour notre arrivée une bonne bouteille de vin au frais. L'appartement est très bien équipé (rien ne manque !) et il y a même plein de jeux et livres dont nos filles de 3 et 6 ans ont bien profité. Situé à 10mn pied du centre de Cassis, l'appartement est idéalement situé pour découvrir la ville, les calanques,..

Sehr nette, gut Deutsch sprechende Vermieterin. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Untergeschoss des Hauses der Vermieter. Ein großer Ess-/Wohnraum mit gut ausgestatteter Küche ist mit alten (ausrangierten?) Möbeln eingerichtet. Das Schlafzimmer ist klein, die Betten niedrig aber OK. Noch kleiner ist das zweite Schlafzimmer mit Doppelstockbetten, das kein Außenfenster hat, sondern lediglich ein kleines Klappfenster zum ersten Schlafzimmer, welches ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Das Bad ist relativ groß mit Badewanne. Größtes Manko ist die zu enge Toilette, die zwar separat ist, aber keine Entlüftung hat. Der Garten machte einen ziemlich ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Gärten der Nachbarn sahen schöner aus. Die Wohnung ist höchsten für eine Familie mit Kindern geeignet, für vier Erwachsene ist sie zu klein.
