The location was great. not far fro the coast a beaurful quiet beaches but high up to enjoy a great view when you were there. Great pool - had lots of fun in it! kitchen was well equipped. Our hostess was very nice and made every effort to help with issues when they came up. I would say it is a very nice place to come with a single family- possibly only with younger children rather than bigger ones (see the dislikes for explanation).
Overall we had a very nice time here.
So this is less about liking and more abuot being prepared for what you are getting:
1. the "bedrooms"are more like niches in the main living area (two on the same level) and two on the next level (but the next level is not a different floor but a raised section in the space of the lving area). There is only a single bedroom with a door- the main bedroom. The others have curtains so privacy is not great! We went with teens and young adults and they were not impressed by this setup. I think it would be better for young kids.
2. Living area - not a lot of comfortable couches etc to all sit around together. we like to do that but if one does not then not important.
3. getting there - the villa is in a tiny village. to bring the car right up to the villa, you need to go thrugh some VERY narrow "streets". we had a compact SUV that we managed to get in. A large van would probably be impossible so keep this in mind.
4. We went in the summer and the water pressure in the showers was very low. we were told that this is an issue on the island in the Summer.

An amazing villa in the mountains of Aspro region. A 5 minute drive or 20 minute downhill walk to the nearest town Almyrida where you can find most of the things needed. The owners were at the villa when we arrived as they had just finished cleaning for us and gave us some useful information as well as offered to use most of the food or ingredients that were left in the villa.
Bring mosquito repellent!! Not the property's fault, it is surrounded by nature so it is understandable.
We were slightly disappointed that we couldn't make use of the stone oven that looks so lovely in the pictures, however we still could use the grill next to it.
