Great base in Almyrida to explore western side of Crete.

Nothing about our stay was not to like. Communication with property was responsive (maybe host's English could/should have been translated via a translator APP, but the message was quite understandable). Host was there to greet us, show us the room, and hand us the keys. Very very pleased with the on-site parking. Kitchen was very basic, but the refrigerator side was generous. Showers were hot and water pressure good. Air conditioning worked perfectly. And proximity to local restaurants, bakery, stores, and the beach were all A+.

I repeat ... Nothing about our stay was not to like.

Had a great stay here. Host available and helpful. Creates a friendly environment.

Best equiped apartment we have stayed in. Ironing board and iron, sandwich maker, toaster etc. Lots of extra items too like washing up liquid, scrubber, dish cloth. Also Bar area and food available till 6pm so great for people who like to stay around the apartment, like to meet other people or have mobility problems, so can't walk too far. Great apartments. Lots of hot water too.

Wonderful relaxing holiday

The Gianna Apartments are a little gem, the owner Antonis and his lovely wife Anna made our holiday wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. They were cleaned every day. Although local tavernas are within walking distance for the evening, during the day everything you need is available from Antonis. His club sandwich is fantastic. We will most definitely be back.

Convenience for local beach and restaurants, very comfortable and clean. Host very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of space, good aircon. Very easy parking outside. Very good breakfasts

Best place at Almirida

The location is amazing, beautiful view of the white mountains. Antonius was the best! Very kind and helpful host. Made our stay so nice and relaxing. The breakfast is excellent, everything was delicious and every day we got something diffrert and surprising.

We were met at the property by Adonis so didn't have to go searching for keys. The pool was immaculate.

whilst it was clean and comfortable the bathroom really needs upgrading. you had to hold the shower because the wall fitting was broken. the shower screen was cracked and had holes. the shelf over the sink was sloping and things fell off.

Everything we needed was there. Just the right sized rooms. Large balcony to enjoy the weather and Mountain Views.

Everything was great, we had all we needed including cutlery, kitchen essentials. The only nag is that the bathroom lighting could’ve been brighter. It was very dim

Lovely apartments managed by very friendly and helpful host Antonis. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing breakfast, the bar was well stocked and the cocktails were wonderful!

Great location, value for money & super friendly. What’s not to love!

Great location, very friendly owners, nice communal pool with a great atmosphere. bedrooms were well equipped, superbly clean. We had a ground floor studio with our own outdoor space. Really nice. Lovely to see children playing so nicely around the pool. Very quiet at night.

Small point but there was a super noisy fan in the bathroom. Not a problem for us we just used the torch from our phone if we needed the bathroom at night, overall great value for money & very friendly.

Very nice familiar hotel

The Manager, his mother and team are extremely friendly. They understand tourism. Breakfast was nice, every day little bit different. Excellent joghurt.

The dog in the nabour hood was barking every evening when it was getting dark.

Relaxing holiday!

We were made to feel very welcome in a very well positioned studio in a fabulous resort. Towels etc were changed every other day and the studios were cleaned very well.

Great place to stay

We had a great experience there! Gianna Apartments is a relatively small apartment complex. The unit assigned to us, Apartment A3 is a good-sized unit. The aircon thankfully worked well even in 43° Celcius days. The pool is clean and not so deep so it is not worrisome to let my 7-year old swim there when he's bored with the kids pool. Each room has its own internet sub-router so wifi is strong even in the outdoors. Adonis and his wife are really good, kind and accommodating hosts. Their pool bar offers the best milkshake in Crete 😉. Gianna's Apartments is walking distance to the beach, bakery, supermarkets and restaurants. They have ample parking spaces but can be helpful if you have questions about taxi, car rental and everything else.

We came for a short 5 day stay in Almyrida for a family memorial. Adonis was exceptionally kind and welcoming, especially after we said our reason for visiting. The facilities and location are perfect, we know the local area very well, we've been coming to this part of Crete for 15 years. We'd recommend staying here to anyone, it's a beautiful place. When Adonis asked about our flight times on the way home, and found out we was flying in the evening, he instantly said we could stay the day free of charge as the rooms weren't being occupied straight afterwards, we did come the last week of April, so it wasn't full, but a nice touch nonetheless. The local Raki & Honey he sells are definitely worth a purchase..... delicious.

Short break but worth every minute

The welcome we received was fantastic, so very helpful and kind after our long journey. The location was perfect, 3 minutes to the beach and the pool area was lovely and sheltered. Fantastic service and lovely food if you choose to order from the menu. Deliciously freshly prepared breakfast and lunch and tasty cocktails!

unfortunately they had some noice from a building site across the road, but that will be gone by next season. the bathroom was ok, but could do with a bit of a renewal.

Great value for money!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the shutters made the room so dark that we had extremely good lie ins!

Pool towels had ran out when we arrived so make sure you take your own. Although the owner did his best to accommodate us we did have to go out to buy towels.
