B&B Filo 15

We liked this B&B for its central location and room was nice. Breakfast although not too fancy it's classic Italian I would say and it's more than enough to start off your day. Overall it was very clean and we liked that. The hosts were very nice and responsive to any request. Easy check in and would come back.

This is mentioned a couple of times but it's on the 4th floor of and older building with no elevator. If you are not up for that please keep in mind when booking. For us it was not a problem but not always fun to climb up after a long day :D

The location of the B&B is great. Right in the center with restaurants and bars at the doorstep. It is also in a walkable distance from almost every touristic interests in the historic center, from the underground station and from the train station. Bed is very comfortable, rooms on the back side of the building are very quiet.

The accommodation is at the 4th floor and the host warned us ahead. But be aware those are 4 floors from a 19th century building with high ceilings apartments. So you will have to climb up and down 108 steps with your heavy luggage which are 6 floors of a modern building ! We didn’t like the fully remote checking-in with instructions given on the spot, not ahead. It means you need a local data plan or enough data to check in. We never met our host and don’t know who they are. Instead, we met a camera, remotely controlled, checking we were getting in (and out) . Is there a breach of privacy here as we don’t know when the camera is on and off and if footage are recorded ? A B&B is about hospitality and meeting people. Not about spying and anonymity. The breakfast is fine. Nothing exceptional except that on our first morning there was a shortages of pastries just 25 mn after breakfast started. It would be nice to have enough for every guest and refill accordingly. Although the room was overall clean the sofa had stains and the chairs on the balcony were spoiled with pigeons droppings. This B&B is fine, not exceptional and we are not sure it is worth the 108 step !

Great location, very clean apartment.

The location is great, the room is very comfy and silent, bed is amazing, Alberto and Roberta are great hosts.
