Folly Cottage & The Old Forge

Cozy little cottage in the Cotswolds, the place has everything you need for a comfortable stay and it is in a handy location, recommended!

Would have been handy to have some salt or oil to cook but they already provide sugar, jams, honey and coffee for breakfast, just a small enhancement to an already perfect stay!

Lovely kitchen and bedroom.

Outside furniture needs a good clean or replacing. Bathroom could do with a bit of maintenance and the shower was weak.

The location was perfect and the cottage itself was done so well

Great quiet village location with easy access via bus to central Bath Warm and modern, clean. Good sized kitchen.

Bed in upper room was uncomfortable, sagged in the middle. Fridge was loose within casing and wobbled around Shower heading upper bathroom did not stay at height on rail. Had to shower with head at low height. Blinds at windows seemed poor quality and some did not open or stay up properly. In the lounge especially they made the property feel utilitarian-curtains would have made a huge difference to the ambience. Insufficient comfortable seating in the lounge for 4 adults. Tiny sofa not fit for purpose. Would greatly benefit from armchair and footstools. Kitchen lights and clock not working (fixed during our stay) Cooker hood light not working.
