Crossroads Farm - Queen Anne's Stable

A lovely little cottage. We’ve stayed quite a few times now and it’s always spotless. We love the location, so close to Bath and other locations. It’s easy to get to and easy to park.

The property has been renovated to an incredibly high level, sympathetic to the original buildings and the surrounding neighborhood. It is absolutely beautiful and a real home from home... In reality better than home! The area is great, ideally located for Box and Chippenham. The house remained relatively cool in the high temperatures we had during the visit and due to the Velux type windows it aired well once the outside temperature dropped. Lovely to find a book showing the restoration of the whole farm. The owner and the management team are also super friendly and helpful. Really lovely touches like tea, coffee, jam etc. as well as a FULLY equipped kitchen.

Very minor feedback, but the outside areas could be a bit cleaner/tidier. The patio furniture is all green and the patio areas and paths would benefit from a sweep. The jacuzzi bath was unfortunately unusable due to severe contamination in the pipework for the jets, even after 3 flushes there remained a large amount of debris, this is a common issue with these and not a reflection on the host or management, just probably not a suitable item for a rental property.

Well designed cottage with everything we needed for a three night break. Bed linen was clean and fresh and beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for our needs. Well located with easy access to Bath and surrounding countryside.

The renovation work is about 15 years old and there are some minor maintenance issues that need addressing but this did not detract from a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Comfortable beds and the kids enjoyed the number of televisions on offer!

Location was a disappointment, being so close to a busy and noisy intersection. This was not indicated by the photos shown online so was a bit of a shock.
