Excellent location for St Marks, and easily accessible from the airport via the water taxi (Google maps recommended!). The bathroom was a wet room, but the shower was good and everything was clean. Good sized, comfortable bed, and air conditioning made for a very comfortable stay! Curtains are see through, but soon realised there were no neighbours to actually see in.
The people who run and arrange it were fantastic: I was on WhatsApp checking the boat I needed, the stop (Hospital stop, then a 5 minute walk), and then double checking entrance and room. They were absolutely lovely, and answered all queries fast to make sure I got there.
Really impressed. Plus the under stairs bathroom was both a nod to the age of the building, and channeled Harry Potter vibes. Loved it!

Quiet. Close to a vaporetto stop.
Shower curtain easily allows water to drip onto the bathroom floor. Lack of counter space in bathroom.

I had more than dozen bites of mosquitos,although they provide one electric mosquito repellent but it did not work… due to this reason i was not able to sleep…
