Casa Para Siempre

We enjoyed staying in a spacious traditional Majorcan property, in a perfect location for walking to Soller, and the nearby villages of Fornalutx and Biniaraix. We particularly liked the lovely pool and garden area. It was a nice place to relax and sunbathe or sit in the shade. The house was exceptionally clean, tidy and nicely furnished.

There is much that impressed us: - the house is spacious and comfortable - the bed is very comfortable - the kitchen is very well equipped - wi-fi and air conditioning work very well - Pedro, the on-site agent, was excellent in communication and in responding to requests with quick visits to resolve issues.

Pool is a plunge pool not swimming pool and the temporary ladder to get in and out was inadequate and unstable, making it unsafe to use and therefore we could not use the pool. Owner says it should have been replaced by a proper ladder. Decking boards by the pool are loose and give way when you tread on them. Owner says he will get them fixed. Cold water pressure in main bathroom was too low to use the shower without getting burnt. Owner says it will be sorted. As older and less mobile people, we found the lack of hand rails on the 2 flights of stairs made the stairs feel somewhat unsafe. Owner says he will look into this. Driveway is on a blind bend and you have to reverse onto the drive. It needs a mirror opposite the drive to see if anyone is coming round the bend and so that they can see you are trying to reverse. Owner says several previous mirrors have been stolen.
