Great location, cute little apartment
Location, close to the chateau and the old town.
No onsite parking and the property is on the main road so you need to park at a public carpark and drag the luggages to the property. Also there's a lot of traffic noise. When we arrived the property we were horrified to see how dirty and run down the entrance hall is. However, as you walked up to the apartment, it's modernly renovated and furnished.

Stairs is steep and narrow - only for fit individuals. Check-in process is all automated, and we had difficulty paying the required damage deposit. No instructions inside - never figured out the microwave.

Central location and comfortable apartment makes this a great choice for your stay in Amboise.
This is a great place to stay when you visit the area. Parking is free and within 2 minute walk. Keys are in a lock box, making arrival simple and easy. Street is busy, but you can still pull onto the curb to unload and then go park. This place has many stairs, which we loved as they added to the character of the place, but might be a challenge for others. The bed is large and comfortable. There was some unseasonable hot weather and the owner brought over extra fans without us even asking for them. Owner responded to messages prior to our arrival, promptly. There is an ironing board and iron. As this is a new listing to Booking, I did suggest to the owner that coffee pods, coffee filters and coffee for the first morning is usually provided in my experience. Luckily we arrived on a weekday so stores were open. Also, no soap in the bathroom.
