The Jolie - Apartments by the Ocean

Location was great. Rooms had all the little things one would need. Very thoughtfully done.

A lovely place in the centre of Porto Moniz, great bed, great bathroom, large living room and kitchen. Absolutely a recommendation.

Only the television was blurry, rest fab

We really enjoyed our stay in apartment 11. The room was not very big, but it was very well designed, cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was used very efficiently, so even though the apartment is compact, it still felt practical and comfortable. One of the best things was the view from the room - it made the stay feel even more special. The location was also excellent: close to the sea, restaurants, shops, and the natural pools, so it was very convenient for exploring the area and enjoying Porto Moniz. Another big advantage was the parking. It was honestly ideal and very well thought out. It is not very common to see hosts who really consider where guests can leave their car, but here everything was prepared perfectly, including a parking card. This made travelling by car much easier and completely stress-free. The shared washing machine was also extremely useful, especially while travelling around Madeira. It is a small detail, but it makes a big difference during a longer trip. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts from the hosts - a bottle of drinking water and a bottle of wine. That was a very nice touch. Self check-in was easy and clear, communication was good, and overall the apartment felt well maintained and thoughtfully prepared for guests.

There was nothing serious that we didn’t like. Overall, everything was very good and we were very happy with our stay. The apartment is quite compact, so for a longer stay or for guests with a lot of luggage, it may feel a little small. However, for us it was not a problem because the room was well organized and had everything necessary. Maybe the only small suggestion would be to add a bit more storage space or hooks for clothes and towels, if possible. But this is really just a minor comment, not a complaint.

The room was not so clean. Dirty hairs on the floor. And a little damp. Also the fan in the bathroom stays on a long time. And the walls are thin, so you’ll hear the neighbors.
