Sea and Sun 4 You - Horizonte Azul

Great location providing excellent early access to the natural pools before they get too busy later in the day. There were also lots of surrounding restaurants, cafes and a supermarket meaning there were lots of opportunities to eat. Self check-in worked fine with the clear instructions provided. The apartment was clean with a good amount of space for our family of four. Other reviews have mentioned issues with the shower but we found no such problems. It was hot and powerful which could lead to flooding but you just need to be careful. A fridge, washing machine and cooker were all welcome additions. While busy during the day, Porto Moniz is a lot quieter on an evening meaning there was little noise disruption.

I think the photos provided when looking to book should match the specific apartment to avoid any potential confusion which has been expressed by other guests Unfortunately, we had one or two unavoidable issues whilst we stayed in the apartment. The air conditioning unit broke and could not be fixed before we left meaning the room was hot in the evening. The hosts did try and resolve this by sending a technician but they could not fix it. Also a local issue meant that the apartment had no water on our first morning. I will say that the remote management team were responsive to emails/messages about these issues but not as easily as accomodation where the host is on site. The management team compensated for this which was appreciated. These issues have affected the scores we have given for our stay which would have been significantly higher if they hadn't occured. I do think it would be ideal for a short stay in Porto Moniz. If you choose to arrive during the afternoon, you may find it difficult to park near the accommodation. While free parking is provided by the hosts, we decided to pay 12 euros for 48hrs in a local car park which was much better located. Our advice would be to arrive to Porto Moniz earlier than check-in in the morning or wait until later in the evening when it is quieter.

Great location and lovely rooftop terrace. Overall very convenient and comfortable for a few nights in Porto Moniz. Close to the natural pools and free parking. Really good communication from the staff!

Property was overall good. Unfortunately, quite a lot of hair was left in the bathroom when we arrived.

Comfortable kitchen, nice terrace. Good location. Some small things were broken, but all got fixed within a few hours.

Advertised as a bedroom plus a separate room, but all is on one space, and the extra bed for the 3rd person is unaccaptable.
