Great location. Beautiful views of Porto Moniz. 10 minute walk to the lava pools. Good restaurants within walking distance. House was immaculate and lots of space. Outdoors area was great with amazing views. Parking was outside or a minute down the road. Really easy to get to the North and West Island sights and around and hour to Funchal.

Beautiful home with excellent view and fantastic hill to exercise on if you are into that. Easy walk into town. Parking was also easy.

Ponte Place was such a treasure. Floor to ceiling windows in every room with great views. Very well furnished with all kinds of supplies. Modern and comfortable furnishings. The church bells, rooster crows, and waves crashing the coastline all create an authentic and unforgettable ambiance. Combine that with a most generous and thoughtful welcome package from the hosts and we simply did not want to leave at the end of our stay.
It wasn’t a problem for us at all, but larger groups may find the lack of a dishwasher inconvenient.
