A wonderful place with exceptional staff

The hotel is great, but the staff made it exceptional. They were so helpful from recommendations on places to eat and to see. I cannot recommend them enough.

Very nice area, the rooms were absolutely amazing and I loved the decor. Bed was comfy facilities were great too, over all I enjoyed my stay in oudenaarde

When I turned on the shower, there was a bad stench, but it went away after a little bit

The breakfast was excellent - served in one of our rooms. The staff was very friendly. Location is perfect. A very nice cozy hotel in the city centre.

Location was good. Room was comfortable. Staff friendly. Breakfast was both generous and tasty.

On arrival it is not apparent where the front door is, and we did not realise there was no staffed reception. But when we telephoned, someone arrived promptly to let us in. Breakfast was in one of the bedrooms!

Good location, OK room.

This hotel is in a good location and not very far from the train station. The room was OK. It was nice that we were allowed to take our bikes in the room.

The space under the bed clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. But apart from that, the room was clean.

The description stated air conditioning. There isn’t! As the room has a huge amount of glass windows in a hot summer this would be a big issue. A fan was supplied but that is not the same.

Hotel run by a very nice friendly couple who go above & beyond.

The location was ideal just a short walk to the square. Next to a road but still fairly quiet. Easy access with a door code. Nice big room although it was the smallest double with a very big comfortable bed & black out curtains. Tea & coffee replenished daily. Excellent breakfast wheeled in on a trolley - could make up a lunch too!

Hard to find! The Hotel location must have recently changed and the Google Maps position is still incorrect. There is no lobby or reception, but the cincierge is very responsive via email or text to requests.

I had a wonderful experience. Upon my arrival at Hotel De Rantere, I was warmly welcomed by the host and thereafter brought to my room. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and more spacious than most in this central location. It had a fantastic layout and deco giving it a special interior charm. There is free access to wifi, coffee, tea, and water. The hotel is located within 3 minutes walking distance from the city square; you get to enjoy the fun of the city at the same time escape the noise when you retire back to the facility. If you won’t want to be woken up by city noises early in the morning then Hotel De Rantere is just that place for you. The host was was also helpful with providing me tips on the best bars and restaurants around the location which made my stay even much fun. Thank you again Hotel Rantere for the warm reception and for making my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oudenaarde either for work or leisure.

Super room but work on the cleaning and refresh the little kitchen.

Big rooms, we had a fridge bud was not on and the huge terras outside was lovely. Add some decorations outside and it will give a much better look! The beds are Wonderfull and the staff is so friendly !!!!

Our bin was still full from the previous customer and in our sons room a bottle of water was half empty.......Staff is Wonderfull and we received a drink at arrival which was very nice. The small kitchen was outdated

Not clear how to enter the hotel or contact the manager upon arrival and desastrous road works situation with several badly indicated deviations which made it a challenge to reach the hotel by car and to leave Oudenaarde starting from the hotel. A shame for Oudenaarde city management
