if you like an eventful stay, book this place

a short list - location

a longer list - very difficult to get in (sometimes impossible to open the front door). neighbor from across the street came to help and said it happens all year time. - very unpractical access to a dilapidated hanger called “indoor parking”. worst part being asked to pay city tax for a parking spot on top of standard city tax. - very hard to get basic service (new towels) and a landlord who’s not easy to deal with. - pictures are not really representative

I cannot reccommend this B&B enough! It is located in a beatuiful building and the rooms are decorated accordingly. The host is extremely welcoming. Breakfast is delicious. Secure bike storage inside the building is also possible without any hassle.

Breakfast was excellent and staff were readily available to supplement the buffet, bring freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs in a variety of ways and hot drinks.

On hot days the rooms may get hot as there is no air-conditioning due to the property being a beautiful historic building.

Stylish central b&b with character.

Central location, yet quiet and stylish. Lovely sitting room where we relaxed with a drink from the honesty bar. Interesting old building,well renovated and decorated. Dropped luggage off and received a warm welcome. Great breakfast, apart from the tea...but I am a fussy English woman! I like boiling water to be boiling!

The bathroom was open to the room, no door. It's a design trend I guess, but I like privacy, even from my husband! We suffered many mosquito bites...maybe screens for the windows would have helped.

A perfect day in the heart of Belgium

spectacular room, elegant house with lovely architectural features, updated bathroom, nice private garden off the street. Breakfast was very good; staff so helpful, made it feel like home. Very close to the Centrum, which is beautiful - good restaurant selection. Stunning church on the square.

The house was superb. Classic architecture with very modern fitting and touches. Lovely,immaculate rooms. Excellent service from friendly and attentive staff. Family run right in the centre of town. Will definitely stay again very soon.
