Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4fth year in this house and we love it. However, as much I would hate to, if they had not replaced the stairs this year I would have started looking for another place. But they replaced the stairs, the deck, and the unstable handrail on the deck. It's lovely. It sits right on the edge of the bay and often times you can be sitting on the deck and the dolphins will swim right up to it fishing. It is CLEAN, cute and had a good kitchen. It is in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. My only caution of the handicapped, elderly, balance issues, which I have. I feel the downstairs bathroom is a hazard. There are no rails in the shower and the only bathmat is one of those like you see in a hotel with no rubber backing. I bring my own now. The cable never works. The office staff does their best to get those things taken care of. We like it so much we already have it booked for a week next May. I highly recommend!

I was disappointed when I walked in, took off my shoes, and the bottom of my feet were black within 5 min. There were bulbs out in lamps in both bedroom with no spares available. We had to move them around to have bulbs in both lamps in the room we were staying in. The light was out in the closet in one room. We called to have a broken shade pull repaired and no one came so I fixed it myself so I could see out the front window. The selection of pots is abysmal. Both of the only 2 large pots have the teflon scraped out of the bottom. There was no colander Virtually every draw and cabinet were stripped clean with very few utensils. The owners should be ashamed to leave an unusable patio table on the desk. It was so rusty and peeling it was disgusting. They could at least put a slab of something over the top of it. It has enough positive features that we'll return. But owners are probably some of the worst examples I've seen in all the years we've been staying on St. George. Next year, I'll bring my own pots.
