About this house rental

Enjoy beautiful SGI sunrises and sunsets at the Seahorse Shanty! The home is a charming bay front 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with large family room including updated kitchen and bathrooms. The home has two large decks, oversized patios and relaxing screen room that is great for enjoying the AWESOME vibes of St. George Island! The Seahorse Shanty has a very ‘homelike atmosphere’ that makes you feel like you are at your home away from home when you are on vacation on this wonderful island. It has a Newly Fenced back yard with a private dock and great canal which is perfect for boating, fishing or kayaking. New dock water system with outside shower makes enjoying the dock that much better! When you step out of the front door…you are just a short walk, bike ride or golf cart ride away from the beach. The home is in close proximity to the great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment of St. George Island. Our Golf Cart, ‘The Shanty Mobile’ is available for rent during your stay.

We had a great week at the Seahorse Shanty. It was extremely clean and in a quiet location. We loved the view from the back porch, and it was only two blocks to the teach. My kids loved the ping pong table. We rented the golf cart and loved using that as well. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seahorse Shanty. Everything is in good condition, the house has plenty of sunlight and a nice flow, and it’s not only pet friendly but the backyard has a fenced yard where our dog could run around to her hearts content. And our host Kathy was very friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be better. It’s on a canal that leads into the bay. We loved it!
