Avalon Beach 4 is our professionally designed beach home located in a quaint 4-unit building in South Mission Beach - just a few homes away from a surf + swim friendly beach. This premier top/2nd level unit features 2bedrooms + 1bathroom, 1 parking space, shared access to 2nd level deck with lounge chairs + BBQ, & beach gear (chairs/towels/boogie boards). MAXIMUM occupancy 6 (4 adults maximum for all-adult groups). NOTE-No A/C, fans are provided. .
INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
Step inside the front entry off the 2nd level patio into to a bright & professionally designed living space. The main living area includes a plush sofa bed & accent chairs that surround a mounted SMART TV, with white/gray/blue furniture & décor accents.
Off the living room is a dining nook & kitchen. The hallway leads you to both bedrooms, featuring our master suite with King bed, SMART TV, & exclusive sun deck. Bedroom#2 houses 2 twin size beds, & rounding out the space is a full bath off the hallway (tub/shower combo).
OUTDOOR + OTHER FEATURES
• Shared 2nd level outdoor deck (only shared with the other 2nd level unit). This is the ideal gathering spot for your group with seating + a BBQ.
• Beautiful light gray wood flooring throughout, a perfect compliment to the blue/white features.

POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
• Guest Requirements | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30 (exceptions made for multigenerational families).
• Occupancy | Maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (i.e. includes both overnight guests & non-overnight visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
• Noise | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.
• Combination Listings | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve an approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay.

No washer and dryer. No air conditioning. No problem. :)This was a fantastic place. Very short walk to the beach. A couple hundred feet? Easy to walk back and forth to the beach if you want to for lunch or dinner, etc... Also a short enjoyable walk along the beach to grocery store or great places to eat. Free access to rentals for bikes and such. 6 minute drive to sea world.We booked this place to be out all day and it was perfect for that. Beach and Sea world for us. Only complaint is we didn't put on enough sun screen.We had a BBQ at the place, great patio. Great beds and hide-a-bed couch. Wonderful weather in San Diego (most boring job in the world is a weatherman in San Diego). We were here four days. There are places you can store your luggage if you arrive before check-in or stay after checkout.Place was clean. Super close to the beach. I parked my suburban (tight). You need a reserved parking spot in this area and so this was great. If you have more than two cars coming that would be tough. But it handled the suburban fine, I just let the wife and kids out before I parked. Ask about the laundry if you need it before you rent. We usually like to have access to a washer dryer but this was a short trip so no bother really.

Great check in and out! Comfy bed! Such a good location between the beach and the bay! Loved having beach towels, chairs, toys and an umbrella provided! Stocked kitchen - enough supplies to make an Easter meal! Bright and clean place to stay!Condo was very hot during the day even though outside temperatures were in the 70s. Windows needed to be open and all fans needed to be used. Lots of airplane noise overhead. Very tight parking spots.

Great communication with the host and it was a very comfortable place to stay. King size bed in the master bedroom was great.

Check in was 3:00 PM but the cleaning company was there until 3:45. The place was not clean. One of the beds was covered in black hairs and there were dead flies everywhere. There is no A/C, which is listed in the information, but buried when it should be up front. Information sent prior to check in implies there is A/C, a W/D, and D/W. This place has none of those. The kitchen is minuscule and missing common items like a colander and oven mitts. The location is absolutely lovely, but it was a disappointing trip overall, especially for the price.
