We really enjoyed staying here for the week. As a family, having the bay walk was perfect in the mornings and there is a lovely playground about 10min away. Also walkable to the beach and really appreciated the wagon with all the toys needed to keep the kids occupied. The house was clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend!

Property is exactly as described! We stayed with two adults and three kids (4-12 yrs old) and loved it! Beach is a short walk away with kids. They have a wagon and beach accessories to use. The host responds back fast and is super helpful. Neighbors were also very nice. Quiet neighborhood! Highly recommend!! We’ll be back!! The family loved staying here!

This is a very comfortable home with two good sized bedrooms and two baths. Everything was well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The owner was very responsive with every question and easy to work with. A car/uber is needed to get to most of the restaurants, but the neighborhood is very nice. It’s close to the jetty and beach and a very nice walking neighborhood. It’s close to the airport.

We call this “our house” when visiting San Diego. We love the location, the beds are so comfortable, and has everything we need. It’s easy to just show up and make yourself at home. We have returned to this rental multiple times, so that should say a lot! The host is extremely responsive and helpful. We will be back!!!

We really enjoyed our time at this house. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and basics, the beds were comfortable, the house was clean and it was in a good location, quick walk to the bay and an easy stroll to the beach. Parking is a little tight in the back alleyway, so don't attempt with anything larger than a small SUV. There is street parking though, if available. I would definitely recommend this rental!

We plan on staying at this rental again next time we come to visit San Diego!! The rental was fully loaded with any and all amenities you may need! From bikes to laundry soap and all the toiletries you could possibly need. The stay was absolutely perfect!!

It's a lovely quiet part of Mission Beach and so close to the ocean beach, Mission Bay etc. We certainly will be looking here first on our next stay in SD. Many thanks!

This is a great little beach house that had everything to make our stay enjoyable at an affordable price. It worked out perfectly for 4 adults. We loved the location a few blocks from the bay, but still a very short walk to the ocean side. The beds were comfortable and the place was stocked with all the necessities + extras for the beach. Candis was very responsive and available if we needed anything. Wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

This house exceeded our expectations and was the perfect home for our family trip. The bay was so close and so many items were provided to make the quick walk to the bay easy. We loved being so close to see Sea World fireworks nightly The front porch was wonderful! 3 doors open up from the house which makes a great cross breeze. Plenty of storage for items on the sides of the house, leaving the outside space clean and open. The house came equipped with so much- from brand name shower items to coffee filters. The beds were very comfortable and the linens smelled so fresh. This sweet street is quiet and filled with many, kind and happy year round neighbors. We have a GMC Yukon and had no problem parking in the provided space. A second smaller car could have fit as well. There is a great closed in area between the parking space that serves as locked storage. All rooms had ceiling fans, but the two air conditioning units came in handy on warmer afternoons. Candis was great to communicate with, when needed. We had the best week here, and cannot wait to come again!

We had a great time. Place was very clean and location was perfect. 1 block to bay and 2 blocks to beach. Wagon was helpful getting sand toys and chairs to the beach. Location was easy to get to as we did Legoland and SD Zoo while there. Walkable to the Belmont Park and restaurants.

I loved this house! 2 houses from the bay and 1 block from the ocean side. So much in walking distance- a market (though pricey), coffee and breakfast shops, restaurants, etc. The house had everything our family of 4 needed. I would absolutely come back and stay here.

We had a great time staying in Mission Beach. We loved the location to the bay and the ocean. Close to restaurants and activities. La Jolla, Balboa Park and Torrey Pines are a short drive. Very well appointed and comfortable. Just don'tplan to park an oversized SUV.

The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The hot water heater went out the last day of our stay and they worked all day to get a new one installed. We appreciate their efforts. Very close to Mission Bay. Not as close to the ocean, but centrally located. We had a very nice family vacation. Near airport.

Beautiful condo close to the bay, and not far from the beach. We loved the huge patio, and the “extras” included by the hosts. We were able to go boogie boarding and kayaking without renting any equipment, as it was provided at the house. Very happy with our stay, and considering staying again next year.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location in San Diego is amazing - so close to the beach and at the perfect point of the beach. The house was larger than the pictures show and the 2 bathrooms were a big win. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and welcoming. I will absolutely stay here again. This is one of my favorite house rentals and I have rented many in my travel life (I am 40!). Funny story - the first night around 9pm I heard some strange noises outside. When I stepped out to investigate, it was large FIREWORKS from Sea World! So amazing. Each night we walked 1 block to the bay and had a private firework viewing. Was an awesome surprise.

Just one block to bay & 2 blocks to ocean. Large master ensuite with ample drawers & closets. Other bedroom has 2 full size beds. Shower is large as it is a triangle shape. Fun bikes for riding & a wagon for beach gear. The only drawbacks to this property is the wifi & the approaching airplanes starting at 6:30 am until 10:30 pm.

My parents visited for spring break and they had a great first experience with SD in the almost perfectly located beach cottage. I say almost because it is in SAN airport runway axis. If you naturally wake up before the end of night takeoff curfew, you'll be just fine! Amenities were as described. We very much enjoyed the cruiser bikes, in particular. I would come back if the opportunity arises.

This was such a great house and location for our trip to San Diego. We wanted something really close to the beach and this was perfect for us. The house was in really great condition, was really clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would totally recommend this place to friends and family!

The house worked out well for us. The location to the beach was convenient; the kitchen had ample tools to create our own meals, as well as a microwave and dishwasher; the patio had a sitting area and a barbeque (although we didn't have a chance to use this due to the rain). The two bathrooms made mornings wonderful. The cottage had enough room for family fun and also made one feel one had one's own area for a book or a bit of privacy too! The only drawback was the air traffic but reminded us of living near an airport with fond memories!
