The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We’ve stayed in the Golden Sands in years past with no issues with our room. This year was totally different and I’m disappointed. It didn’t ruin our trip and it was only minor inconveniences but definitely easy to fix.
No door stopper in the bathroom so the door would lock by itself. My 3 year old and 1 year old both got locked in the bathroom. We had to use a hanger to get them out.
The water pressure in the shower hurt, it was so fast and strong and I couldn’t figure out if there was a way to change the pressure.
The hot water in the shower lasted maybe 5 minutes then went cold.
The kitchen was not well stocked with utensils, there were no paring knives or measure spoons and the cutlery that was available was under the sink.
The furniture was dated and dirty looking throughout the whole condo.
The bedroom did not cool down like the rest of the condo.
Again, it wasn’t a terrible vacation but simple fixes would be helpful.
