Sun Bum at William & Mary is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 3rd floor oceanfront condo in Carolina Beach, perfect for a family of 6. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are oceanfront. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is well equipped for preparing those family meals. The first bedroom has two sets of bunk beds with adjoining full bath. The master bedroom is street side, has a queen bed, adjoining private bath and views of the sound. Sit outside on the oceanfront deck to get a dose of fresh air and enjoy the fantastic view. A private walkover to the beach and an outside shower are located at the rear of the building. There is assigned parking underneath the building for one car and an extra parking space is located in the concrete lot across the street. This is a non-smoking unit. No pets allowed. At this time the Washer and Dryer will not be available. This complex is located just seven blocks north of the Boardwalk area in downtown Carolina Beach. You are walking distance to shops, restaurants and the summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music. Watch the fishermen come in with the catch of the day at the marina or dine out with the family.

The condo was fantastic-modern, clean and comfortable! It was even better than pictured as we were surprised by the upgraded deck furniture which we enjoyed for coffee, cocktails and lunch when we came off the beach. Yes, it is on the third floor without an elevator but TRUST me, it is worth it for the incredible views! Plenty of room to relax in the evenings for our family of four after we walked to dinner and ice cream each night! Michael was fantastic with communication both before and during our stay. If looking at Carolina Beach, I highly recommend!

We chose this place mainly because of the washer and dryer that was supposed to be in the unit and we had a long trip before and after our stay here. Upon reading information in check-in booklet it said they were not available at this time. Assuming behind the locked door none or the keys would open. The doors were issues, storm door handle kept falling off on inside (annoyance more than anything) because it was missing a set screw. The deadbolt knob on inside someone before us had broken off and you'd have to use your fingers on it and have to try to lock. It was difficult with someone with arthritis in hands. Just a reminder its 3rd floor but technically 4 flights of steps became the raised condo for flooding/parking.The location was wonderful. It wasn't overly crowded on the beach right outside the condo. Had good views of beach. Sunrises would be great but we didnt get a good one while we were there. Sunsets behind the condonare mostly blocked by other buildings.
