Affectionally known as Hidden Cove, this unique lodge is on 360 private acres and has direct riverfront access. Enjoy the sights and sounds of ultimate serenity from multiple outdoor areas. The atrium includes a heated eight-foot-deep pool that is available year-round, along with a hot tub and a stone wall. Sit by the wood-burning fireplace, or sip a drink at the table. Fire up the built-in gas grill. Dine alfresco at one of two outdoor tables. Relax by the wood-burning firepit in the wooded backyard. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to hiking, biking, and fishing - with direct access to over two miles of groomed trails. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, or camping along the riverfront. Dine and shop along Main Street in Chimney Rock. Drive about six miles to wander trails or hit the links at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. Picturesque Lake Lure is a dream destination for nature lovers. Chimney Rock is five miles from your door, and Lake Lure Adventure Company offers boat rentals within a nine-mile drive. Two ultra-private rooms, including the bunk room with a TV, are free of windows, promising a peaceful night of sleep.

-No motorized vehicles are allowed to be used on the property other than transportation to and from the house; electric bicycles are allowed.
-This three-story rental is accessed via four steps at the entryway.
-The mile-long driveway may require all-wheel-drive during inclement winter weather.
-WiFi can be spotty in this location
-Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
-Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
-All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.

This was a beautiful, serene home, extremely clean, with all of the amenities you need. I've seen some harsh reviews, and I cannot believe anyone would give such poor reviews. This is a true hidden gem. The beds are all memory foam and very comfortable. The pool is heated perfectly. The home and the grounds are very well maintained. There are countless spaces for recreation, relaxing, cooking, dining and spending quiet time together. The space outside is breathtaking and tranquil, with limitless options for spending the day out enjoying the stunning land. We will absolutely return!

The space was clean and plenty of space to gather and relax. The pool was a huge hit and worth the cost. The outdoor patios/porches/surroundings were beautiful. In general the home is dated but as pictured. The bedding and glassware and cookware/utensils can use an upgrade. Some pillows had no pillow cases, light quilts on beds that didn’t feel fresh. Random wineglass. But overall a special family stay!

Dishwasher didn't get dishes clean, lights were burnt out in the pool. Several ceiling fans didn't work. Lots of lights in the house were burnt out. Master bath tub leaked into the bedroom directly on the bed below. Toilet handles didn't work or broke while there.
Loved the pool and location of the home. Just wish everything had worked as it should have.
