The convenient location of this charming getaway makes it the perfect home base for your Deep Creek Lake escape. Captain's Cabin is less than five minutes from favorite activities and attractions. Plus, it has all the amenities for a truly memorable vacation.
Bright and airy, the open concept main level has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The great room is filled with natural light that gleams off the hardwood floors. Unwind by the glow of the gas fireplace to watch TV or make plans for the day. Golf? Hiking? Boating? The choice is yours!
Fully equipped, the kitchen has all the essentials to make your family's favorite meals. Get together at the dining table for big breakfasts or delicious dinners that are sure to inspire great conversation. There are two more seats at the breakfast bar, so everyone has plenty of room.
The sunroom is a cozy space with its very own gas fireplace. It is a quiet spot where you can enjoy coffee in the morning before the hustle and bustle of the day begins.
Retire to the main level suite when you are ready to get some shut-eye. You can sink into the comfy queen bed and drift off to sleep.

There are a lot of great things about this house. It has two bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. It has two other private bedrooms and other sleeping areas. It has 3 full baths and a powder room. The inside renovations are beautiful - especially the new kitchen. The inside was very clean. There is a pool table in the basement. We did not try the jacuzzi. There is a fire pit outside. The grounds (lawn and gardens) are maintained beautifully.
However, it appeared that the outside deck area with table, chairs and grill had not been cleaned since last fall. We submitted multiple work orders for the outside cleaning, especially the grill which was never cleaned to our satisfaction. There were some issues with the inside - broken toilet paper holder in one bath, no A/C in one bedroom, basement was very cold - no apparent thermostat adjustment. The rental maintenance service repaired the toilet paper holder and brought fans for the room with no A/C. Unfortunately, the last evening of our stay, the water turned off due to a leak in one of the toilets. It was repaired within about 2 hours.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! Everything was so closed by and the house was clean and so lighting we would definitely come back!
