About this house rental
Original Deep Creek Lake stone cottage completely restored and updated. This 4 bedroom cottage is a great place to get away and unwind from the "real world". All 4 bedrooms have new queen beds and have Jack and Jill bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances and a dishwasher. There are granite counter tops and a center island for cooking and eating. The living room and dinning room are surrounded by windows to give you lake views from all angles. There is a gas fireplace to take the edge off of the cool nights. In addition there is a HD LCD TV to watch movies, play video games or watch cable. Just off the living room is the deck with a large picnic table to enjoy your meals and play games. There is also a hot tub to relax your aching muscles after a long day of outdoor activities. The back yard lends itself to many family games and activities. The swing is a great place to read a book or get lost in the view. We have a private dock for your boat or boats. The dock is a great place to swim or catch fish.

Very nice! Overall, clean, modern. Kitchen is great! Very well supplied. Nice furniture and beds were comfortable. Linens provided. Air-conditioned! TVs in each room and the living room. Nice to have a hot tub. We lowered the temperature a bit and the kids got in, too! This was nice since the lake water was a bit too cool. Beautiful views. We used the fire pit a few nights and also the yard swing. Nice to have your own boat dock and a yard for the kids to run around in. My granddaughter caught her first sunny off the dock! Just something to be prepared for... since you are located right at the top of the inlet/cove and near the bridge, there is a lot of boat traffic. This is fun to watch but it creates lots of waves, so your boat is tossed around a bit during busy times. We used 4 ropes to secure the boat to the dock. There's a ladder on the dock. Although we didn't swim, it was helpful to get out of the kayak! Two ducks came on the property a few times. The last day a bunch of geese came up...they were messy!! Beautiful sunset view. Suggestion for additional towel bars in each bathroom. It's a tight turn/swing to get the boat trailer in the yard but nice to have parking for the cars and boat trailer. The house is in a nice location for access to lake beach and playground, picnic areas, ice cream, some restaurants and activities. The host replied to our inquires. Wish we caught more fish but, overall, a wonderful vacation, nice house!

It is a beautiful accommodation. The view is calming and being right on the water was soothing! We did have to vacuum when we got there because of some paper on the rug. All our communication was promptly answered and issues dealt with.

Nice place, perfect location on the lake nice and clean but and there's always a but so when we arrived to the house the snow in the driveway, sidewalks and rear deck hadn't been touched so the first thing we had to do on our vacation is shovel ice to get the place so we could enjoy ourselves which took a few hours.... That was very disappointing but since I was there to enjoy myself I let it slide. Do better with that
