The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make home-style meals when you are not trying out one of the area's many restaurants. Dinnertime will quickly turn into quality time as you swap stories about swimming, skiing or hiking. Access to the adjacent deck is convenient for afternoon barbecues when you have the urge to grill out. You can dine outdoors surrounded by beautiful, natural scenery.

This is one of the better rentals we’ve experienced in the Deep Creek Lake area. Very clean adequately furnished. Drawbacks are terribly slow Internet. I experience DSL speeds, which is inadequate for streaming. Bring your own hotspot if you want to stream movies or content. The other drawback is the lane up to the house is rough and in need of pothole repair.

First, I must say everything was in good working order. All appliances, A/C, TVs, hot tub were all in good working order. The home is small and quite modest. While everything worked fine, it was hard for our family of 2 parents and 2 20 yo boys + 1 dog to move past each other! That aside, there really is no yard and the property could be more attractive if the yard were just slightly more landscaped so folks could do a little cornhole or horse shoes outside. While it's not mandatory to have an SUV to access this last house on the lane, the potholes really need attention. There is no reason at all that the dozen pot holes on the access road and the deep rut in the driveway could not be attended to with a little muscle, and a mere 1/2 truckload of crushed gravel. This could easily be filled and fixed in a few hours. A little TLC with furnishings, landscaping and road work would make this a much more attractive rental.
