PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Greenhaven is light-filled, lower-ground floor apartment with private gated entrance that part of a listed (historically-recognized) 19th century townhouse opposite the 2.5 acre private garden of Eccleston Square. The apartment is newly refurbished with a mix of contemporary and antique décor. Sixteen foot high ceilings and large windows in the main living/dining area contribute to its very open, light and airy feel. There is also a small patio off the front entrance that's perfect for one or two people to enjoy a morning coffee or tea.
BEDS (3) & SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: There is a double bed in the first bedroom, and a king-size sofa bed.. The 7-foot-long sofa bed can also serve as single bed for those to prefer not to open and close a sofa bed. There is also a 'bonus room' with a single bed.

ABOUT ECCLESTON SQUARE. A highly desirable place to both to live and visit, Eccleston Square -- a collection of beautiful 19th century townhouses built around a 2.3-acre garden square -- dates to the 1830s. At that time, the area was known as "Lower Belgravia" -- an extension of the Aristocratic enclave of "Belgravia" just a few blocks away. Winston Churchill moved to Eccleston Square a year after marrying Clementine Hozier, and their first two children, Diana and Randolph, were born here. Greenhaven was absolutely perfect for our week-long stay in London! The apartment location was a 5 minute walk to Victoria Station which gave you access to anywhere in London in 10-20 minutes, yet we felt like we were tucked away in a quiet, little neighborhood in a small English town. The apartment has air conditioning which was an absolute necessity during our stay as temperatures reached 90 degrees. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. We enjoyed the bottle of wine and snacks left for us. There were so many extras provided that we would have never thought of such as a rolling grocery cart to take with us when we walked around the corner to grab a few things for the week, there were umbrellas in the event of rain, and there was even a basket to use if you wanted to have a picnic in the private garden/park across the street (which was absolutely precious)! Coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, spices for cooking, ziplock bags, laundry detergent, and anything else you could want or need was already in the apartment. Robes and slippers were even provided for every guest. Because we stayed 8 nights, we were provided free private car pick up from the airport, and Paula arranged return service for us. I cannot say enough good things about Greenhaven and our experience. Paula was an excellent host. Her communication was fantastic, and she responded to all of my inquiries in less than 24 hours. Do not hesitate booking Greenhaven for your London vacation!

Beautiful,well appointed home. The place is squeaky clean and we appreciated the snacks and quiet neighbourhood as a perfect pad to get over our jetlag. Close to great eateries and the tube. We loved every bit of our stay here. Would definitely recommend!

My family of five (kids ages 14, 12, and 7) had an enjoyable weeklong stay. We appreciated the thoughtful touches of snacks on arrival and car service from the airport. The place is no doubt on the tight side, but it was well appointed with everything you could need. And it’s central London—right by Victoria station! (Do study up on the station a bit as the underground part is in at the northeast end. We actually ended up using buses more than trains preferring the views of street travel to train travel. It’s cheaper and contributes to your daily cap. And sometimes brings you closer to home depending on the route in addition to often taking the same amount of time as the tube. Battersea Pier was also a pleasant 15-20 minute walk if you prefer boats as well.)Enough about transportation. We had many meals at the flat. Kitchen was very well appointed and there was a Waitrose nearby for shopping. Washer/dryer was also appreciated although loads must be relatively small, and the dryer works totally differently than American/Canadian dryers so read the instructions! Speaking of instructions—there was a sign asking guests not to enter the host’s private linen stores. But these weren’t labeled. We assumed these were the linens in the baskets/trunks in the main room. But it would be helpful to label them as such or just put a lock on them instead of threatening charges. Other than that, the stay was superb for the location. Do check out the peaceful park across the street!
