About this house rental
Log home living at Deep Creek Lake doesn't get much better than this! Perched on a hillside surrounded by trees, Big Bear is within a stone's throw from favorite activities and attractions.
Hardwood floors, exposed beams, and floor ceiling windows combine to create the perfect mountain vibe. The spacious main level has an open layout that lends itself to quality time with family and friends. Take a seat in the great room and warm yourself by the wood stove after enjoying the outdoors. Watch TV or swap stories about your favorite moments from the day.
At mealtimes, the sizable fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a delight, and dinners become an event with plenty of seating at the dining table and breakfast bar. A door opens to the deck as an added convenience for cookouts.
The main level suite is furnished with a king bed and has deck access. You can step outside each morning to be greeted by crisp mountain air. At night, slip into the jetted tub to melt away your stress and unwind at bedtime.
Upstairs, the loft has a sitting area as well as a desk for those that need to catch up on work. There are two bedrooms that each have a queen bed. You are sure to sleep well and wake up ready to do as much ~ or as little ~ as you please.
Let the good times roll in the lower level family room! A gas fireplace keeps things cozy while you watch the big game or play a game of pool. There is also a table where you can enjoy board games or cards. There are two more bedrooms on this floor that are furnished with queen beds.
You'll love spending time on the wrap-around deck throughout your stay. It is partially covered, so you can savor time outside no matter what the weather. After a day on the ski slopes or hiking at state parks, the bubbling hot tub will be a welcome sight to soothe tired muscles.
A five-minute drive will take you to boat rentals, mini golf, restaurants, and shops. When the snow starts to fall, head to Wisp Resort to ski, snow tube, or ride the mountain coaster. Throughout the rest of the year, you can try their many other activities that include golf, ziplines, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, and more. On top of the mountain, the Adventure Sports Center has a man-made white-water course that provides lots of thrills!

"13 minute walk to Deep Creek" does not mean that there is any lake access included with the property. It just means that you can walk to the edge of the lake. Must purchase access to lake elsewhere. Paperwork & listing is confusing about the lake access. Some bathroom fixtures are dated and corroded. Huge windows have mismatched and streaky tint. Sit outside on the gorgeous portch to enjoy the view. Rest of usable property was spotless and comfortable, including good hot tub. Leave AC fan "on," not "auto," to keep the basement from being cold as a crypt. Note: 3 beds are in that cold basement. 2 beds upstairs where heat rises. Might be great for the right "thermostat wars" family.

The house was beautiful with a beautiful stunning view!! The house came with everything you would need. House was clean and so was the hot tub. The beautiful outside deck was spacious. Only complaint was the outside deck some of the boards were coming up with nails and the outside backyard wasn’t mowed all the way so couldn’t really use it.
