The house itself was nice, though a bit dated. Two burners on the stove were not functioning, and the gas fireplace was inoperable upon our arrival. The rental company did send someone promptly, and while the fireplace was briefly restored, it unfortunately stopped working again within an hour. Additionally, the dining table had only seven chairs, which made seating a bit challenging for our group for Thanksgiving dinner - we had to bring in a chair from outside.

Overall nice house. There were cuts in some of the furniture but didn't stop use from using them .

House was clean and very spacious. Furniture pieces were worn (big tear in ottoman). Our whole family came which was great. Kitchen was nice to cook in - we stayed in for dinner. We really would have loved a fire pit out back but were not permitted to use it which we were not aware of when we booked. We even had firewood ordered for delivery. There was a boat in our dock space ALL week which I called about but never received an answer that was a problem since we couldn’t leave our boat there that we rented. The location was perfect for different excursions we scheduled for day trips. Floor boards are very noisy in the upstairs bedrooms if you are trying to get babies to sleep. But all in all the place was very nice.

We loved the location and convenience to the commercial district; however there were several things about the home that were deficient or unacceptable. The fold out couch on the first floor was unusable so the occupancy of the place was 14, not 16, so two of our guests had nowhere to sleep; we could not get the gas fireplace to operate (no written instructions); the gas grill was in very poor condition; the second and third floor thermostat was in a poor location; we were told no fire pits but we saw a least four of them on the properties; the bathroom layout was poor (5 bedrooms had their own bathroom and six people had to share one bathroom).
