POINT B EXCLUSIVE - This luxury retreat near South Beach features coastal-styling throughout its indoor and outdoor living spaces, with modern open design and screened porch, stone patio with pergola, and a heated gunite pool.
The indoor living spaces include a Living Room with vaulted ceiling, second-floor loft balcony, fireplace with built-ins, and sliding glass doors out to the bluestone patio with pergola. There is a large open Dining Area and Gourmet Kitchen, which are framed on one side by a wall of glass doors that open to the patio and screened porch for outdoor dining and entertaining. The fully-equipped Chef Kitchen features center prep island, breakfast bar/prep counter, marble counters, casual dining area, and commercial stainless appliances.
The first floor Primary Bedroom suite features a deluxe Primary Bath with double marble vanity, glass walk-in shower, and soaking tub. There is also a Den/Sleeping Area off the Living Room, with French doors for privacy. The other two Bedrooms -- both with en suite baths -- are located on the second floor. The open loft area that connects the two bedrooms has a Lounge Area with sectional seating and TV.
The 27x18-foot heated gunite pool is a "sports style" pool, that is three feet deep at each end and six feet in the middle. It is heated to 81-degrees in July and August. There are sun loungers and an umbrella at one end of the pool. The bike path is nearby and South Beach is less than a mile away.
POOL NOTE: 81-degree pool heat in July and August is included in the rental rate. During May, June, September, and October, 81-degree heat is an additional $475/week if pool is open and available.

The location is amazing. 5 minute bike ride to South Beach with a pool in the backyard. It can't be beat.

So, we LOVED this house - totally loved. Loved the pool, loved the porch, house was gorgeous, bedrooms were comfortable, loved the location. (Would've loved if kids room had black out shades but we honestly could've put our baby in a different room.)
The main things to be aware of are: very large security deposit required on this property (which we had not encountered before in VRBO rentals), host fee, service fee and pool heating fee (we were glad to have heated pool in mid May). Management company was fairly responsive to me, but was inflexible on the security deposit requirement (which we did receive in full within a week following our stay.) It is mentioned on the VRBO listing, but flagging again here.
