It’s a half hour (pleasant) walk from Wissant, but the road (especially at night) is mainly for cars.

Beautiful property, and excellent service and location!

Nestled amongst the rolling hills and fields of the renowned French countryside, and just two kilometers away from Wissant, lies Le Colombier. Within its compound are vegetable and fruit gardens, a terrace and patio area, sun chairs and other greenery to enjoy, which my husband and I did with a glass of wine each evening—also visited by the friendly and cuddly cat. It is a peaceful place, and Anne hosts with passion and professionalism. It is obvious that she has carefully decorated each room and every morning, she greets you with a smile and homemade marmalades, and other local delectables for an incredible breakfast. We truly enjoyed staying there and hope to visit again.

This property will attract a lot of returnees . We loved our short stay

The location is well sign posted from the road. A good size gravel drive leads you to the extremely well maintained property . We stayed in accommodation to the right of the property . Our accommodation had excellent facilities : very comfortable bed and a very effective shower . Mini fridge well stocked with some very tasty wine . We met Anne the host the following morning . She was very helpful and provided a great breakfast . When we return to France we will definitely return.

Very friendly landlady. Unique atmosphere in this old, care- and thoughtfully renovated farm. Excellent breakfast, partly with the landlady‘s home-made delicious cakes, breads and marmalades. Not at all to be missed!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with beautiful countryside, villages in easy reach

The room was spacious and very tastefully decorated; excellent breakfast made with local products and homemade bread/cake etc; Anne was most helpful for any questions we had; very nice atmosphere; we could leave our bikes in a locked shed when we weren't using them; beautiful courtyard and very pretty garden

Lovely quite location but very close to the lovely village of Wissant. Anne was amazing, our ferry was 5 hrs late, which ment we were arriving late, Anne was very helpful and acomadating given our late arrival. The accommodation was very clean and well kept, breakfast was first class and had a lovely relaxed feeling. Would definitely return.

In a quiet rural location near Wissant, we had a clean and comfortable room with free water and tea/coffee facilities. There was also a nice garden to sit out in. Delicious continental breakfast included in room price with some home made products including cakes, yoghurts and jams. Anne the host was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

A brilliant introduction to France.

Ideal location, before heading to UK or starting a journey from the UK. Ideal also for a longer stay as so close to the coast. Wonderful fresh produce for breakfast. Just superb - very friendly yet extremely professional.

Delightful overnight stop: we would have been happy to stay longer!

Very pleased with our room (and the car park). Breakfast was excellent although we were a little rushed so didn't have quite enough time to sample some of the local products on offer. The owner was charming.

The perfect adult get away

This old farm has been passed down through the family of the current owner Anne who shares her wonderful memories. Anne is very passionate about everyones experience and can't do enough to help. We stayed for 4 nights and saw many people from numerous countries stay for a night or two at a time. The room was cleaned to an exceptional standard each morning. Breakfast was well presented and tasty with much of the produce locally sourced or made fresh by Anne (baked items) or her family (Jams). In the bedrooms they stay at a comfortable tempurature even on hot days and the beds are very comfortable with the bed sheets changed every morning. This area is a very quiet location and exactly what we were looking for. Wissan is about a mile and half from the B&B with pleanty of places to eat and Anne has a list of recommended venues which is availble on request. There is also a beach, Spar shop, pharmacy and market held in the centre on set days. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Anne speaks both French and English. I am not sure if she speaks any other languages.

For the B&B I have no complaints. The only negative would be that there is no path to walk along the road to Wissan but thats no reflection of the quality of the B&B.

the hostess Anne was fabulous. so very friendly really went out of her way to make us welcome. would absolutely recommend this to anyone. really worth the visit on our stop of heading south. Anne like my husband appreciates a nice car go give her a visit. I will definitely be back. Thanks Anne x
