- We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
-The beach condition changes everyday, weather and hurricanes tend to affect how wide the sand area is in our photos and sometimes the water reaches up to the deck.
- Please note that due to El Faro's security protocols, before your arrival, we will request a photo of each guest's ID that will be at the property during your stay.

The listing is spot on. The front bedroom is noisy at night. The facilities were very clean and friendly. The area is perfect for shopping and dining. Would definitely consider this one again.

Nice condo and wonderful accessories. We came to Playa for a family wedding and this condominium structure was able to accommodate us in (5) separate units. Awesome location to all activities and great restaurants.

Fantastic property. Security 24/7. Paco at front desk was a true gentleman and extremely helpful. Cabs available right up the street. Walked to Walmart a few times. Les Amies cafe right next door. Tony made Fantastic breakfast with homemade breads. Los Tabernachos, Quebec owners, incredible food and bloody ceasers. Rooftop Club across 5th Avenue was loud at night but never bothered us. Very clean safe condo Always felt safe even on our daily walks thru Playa del Carmen would go back anytime.
Zenzi beach bar and restaurant by the front entrance was always great

I always like El Faro, due to location. The roof top was nice for the afternoon sun, after it went below the building and shaded the pool. Space was cozy for a group of 4, any more it would have been overcrowded. The beds were firm, but not Mexico hard beds. The bedrooms were modest and small in size. Both beds were full size and honestly a bit small for two adults of regular proportion (6’ and slim in size). Elevators are slow- so we took the stairs, if people have issue with 4 flights of stairs, I would caution entering this space, as you have to walk a few flights often. Housekeeping isn’t done on a regular bases and you must wash your own towels- that was a bit of a drag, but manageable. Overall- our stay was great! Love the condo and facilities!
