Welcome to Second Wind, a newly renovated, beach-front Gulf Shores vacation home that offers ample privacy and serenity. Professionally managed by Kaiser Vacation Rentals, Second Wind welcomes you with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and a private walkway to the beach.
Offering 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this raised 2-story Gulf Shores vacation home comfortably sleeps up to 18 guests. Second Wind’s features include a fully appointed kitchen, dining room, and living room, all offering sweeping views of the sparkling gulf water. With 8 seats at the main dining room table and 5 additional seats at the bar, there is plenty of room for the family to sit together for a home-cooked meal. Plus, with family time at the top of your mind, Second Wind has even more seating on any of the three oversized decks for a quick lunch.
Upon entry to Second Wind, guests are greeted by an open-concept kitchen and living room overlooking an expansive gulf-front deck on the south side of the home and another expansive deck on the north side with a view of the lagoon across the street. To the left, you will find a Gulf front queen suite and a north side bedroom with en suite bathrooms. To the right, you will find the main bedroom with a gulf-front king bed and en suite bathroom, a second north-side queen bedroom and bath, laundry area, and stairwell access to the loft just off the kitchen. In the oversized upstairs loft, you will find 4 sets of twin bunks and a chair with a twin pull-out bed, sleeping a total of 9 children, plus a separate bathroom. Beyond the family-friendly floor plan, this Gulf Shores vacation home offers a bar area, a standalone under-counter ice maker, plus TVs in the main living area and every bedroom. With ample parking and a completely open carport, this home is ideal for small weddings, sports teams, bus parking, and small to mid-size events.
Guests under 25 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome at this property. Smoking is strictly forbidden. Monthly winter guests are welcome. Second Wind is located on West Beach in Gulf Shores about 5 miles from the main public beach area. Kaiser Vacation Rentals practices †Enhanced Cleaning Protocol which includes a complete linen turn-over after every guest. Second Wind is best booked directly through our website. This home can comfortably fit 5-10 vehicles in the driveway.

This beach house was incredible. We had a large group of family and friends ranging from all ages. Our favorite part was the easy access to the beach where the kids could come and go as they please. We loved the oversized carport which kept the cars out of the sun. The gorgeous deck with plenty of seating was also a nice spot for the parents to relax and socialize. The kids loved the large bunk room. The room is much bigger than the picture. Multiple outdoor hose connections. The water spigot on the boardwalk was lacking some water pressure, which may have been the only negative thing, but it still served its purpose. The beach itself is almost like a private beach with so few people. The house had more than enough towels and wash clothes for our stay. We would love to come back and stay here in the future.

This house is wonderful, spacious and very clean and nice. WONDERFUL LOCATION! HOWEVER, please note that there is not enough supplies. The house is stocked EXCEPT... The website states that there is a 'starter' set of supplies and that is all. We had to purchase dish soap, detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap and bath soap. We had 18 people staying at the house and I spent a lot of time doing laundry for clean towels. It would be great if the dryer would be upgraded with a house this size... again AMAZING house but read the small print when considering necessary supplies.

This property is great for family. Enough room for individual privacy but also adequate space for all to be together. The back porch and deck are fantastic. We WILL stay here again. Love this place.
