The community pool is open annually from the beginning of June to the end of August for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.
No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.

Condo very nice and large enjoyed the view of bay

Overall the condo was adequate. It needs some updates. The mattresses are old and need replaced. The door lock was very hard to use. The maintenance man said he had asked multiple times to replace the locks because people have a hard time using them. The company will not allow them to be replaced. The main complaint was pulling dirty dishes out of the cupboard and a bowl that looked like it had dried cottage cheese all over it.

The Sanctuary is a distinct mix of fabulous and dreadful. Beautiful buildings in a spectacular location with the single worst parking garages I have ever experienced. No-one told us there were three buildings, A B & C, each with a garage. After spending 45 minutes driving around under buildings A&B – the parking spaces are not numbered consecutively – we couldn’t get into C garage because we had a kayak on the roof of the car. We ended up parking outside in a handicap spot next to the elevator for our rental, wanting to find our unit before shlepping our luggage inside.
At this point we were more than a little frustrated to discover the key card scanner did not work to open the door to the elevator lobby. We trekked back to the main lobby where the scanner worked and so were able to access the elevator from there. We found our unit, opened by a key not a scannable card. The key was extremely tricky, requiring almost gymnastic manipulations to open the door. The key was a constant irritant throughout our stay.
Happily, once inside the unit, we found a lovely apartment with a beautiful view of the Sound. The Condo was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The clothes dryer didn’t work, but a repairman appeared very quickly and solved the problem.
After such a rocky start, we very well may return to the Sanctuary. The beach was lovely, we enjoyed the proximity of the wildlife refuge, and the local ambiance. On a return trip, we would understand how the garages work and hopefully the key card reader and the door key problems will have been rectified.

Great sunset views. The home is laid out nicely with the room setup to accommodate at least five or six guests. While the beds are comfortable, the dining room chairs are painful. The kitchen is not stocked appropriately.
