We loved being close to the lighthouse and a walk to Long Beach. The weather was perfect and the house was well equipped and clean. We really liked that there were two bathrooms and a nice comfortable deck. The neighborhood was peaceful. Our dog was allowed on the beach before 8 am so we took her for a long walk and let her play on the beach. York was lovely! We'll be back!

We had a wonderful time at The Windrose (7/27/24 - 8/3/24). The cottage was spotless when we arrived. The cleaning crew did an excellent job! The 3 bedrooms are very spacious and plenty of closet space. I also loved the AC's in all 3 bedrooms and in the kitchen. The washer and dryer are a big plus! We loved the wrap around deck and sat out there every night. I also loved the location -- close to Nubble Light and about a 1 mile walk to Short Sands.

I have to say this was one of the best stocked cottages we stayed at! From the tissues in every bedroom to the fully stocked kitchen - we weren't at a loss for anything. The beds were very comfortable - we did bring our own pillows but that was more of a preference for us. Highly recommend this location!
