About this house rental
Country home with a large yard with a gazebo for great outdoor dining. Farmhouse decorated. Lots of country charm. Close to town but not to close. Red river gorge is just a short drive away. Lexington is only 30 minutes away.pet friendly

The house was decorated so cute and the yard was so nice for the kids to play. There were so many places to sit and enjoy the outside. Our kids loved the neighborhood dog that visited everyday. It was hard to get much sleep though bc 2 of the bedrooms do not have a ceiling so you hear everything. The lighting was poor in the whole house, which made it hard to read at night which is what I like to do. It had many spider webs and tub was dirty when we got there but floors and beds were clean. We ran out of gas in the grill but the host was great to bring us more right away. She was very nice.

The cabin was larger than the pictures suggest and there is a ton of natural lighting! We had a guest with slightly limited mobility (uses a cane) and she was able to maneuver the property well. We had a 2yo guest and she had a blast in the jacuzzi bath with the bubble bath. We did bring our pack-and-play for her as there was not one provided, but there was plenty of space in the bedrooms for us to put it. They do have a regular drip coffee pot in addition to the Keurig seen in the listing pictures. There were a couple friendly small to medium-sized dogs that came up to the cabin to say hello when we were outside. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
