Lemon Drop is a two-bedroom charming carriage house that feels like a beach vacation hideaway! (Lemon Drop is the lock-off home from the main home Mellow Yellow.) Located on the corner of peaceful Savannah Street, this home is tucked away amongst beautiful greenery and several Seaside, FL footpaths.
Entry can be found on the right side of the main home. Enter into the front door and onto the first floor to find two bedrooms, one queen and one with two twin beds), and a shared full bath with a shower. Both rooms feature whimsical artwork, are spacious, and have plenty of storage.
Guests can travel upstairs onto the second story, featuring a generous apartment area, accompanied by another full bathroom and a kitchen. The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and four burner stove top oven. There is an adjacent dining table that seats four on this level. Off the second level is a majestic, open-air, private porch with Adirondack seating and a bench swing overlooking tree-top views. This area serves as the perfect spot for morning coffee or to enjoy and take in the sights and sounds of Seaside, FL, and the gulf breeze.

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Did you have a good overall stay?Overall, the stay was decent, with some clear highlights but also a few issues that impacted the experience. The location and staff were great, but the comfort and maintenance concerns made it less enjoyable than it could have been.Was the vacation rental in a great location?Yes, the location was a major plus. It was convenient and made it easy to get around and enjoy the surrounding area, which added a lot to the trip.Was the home clean and in good shape?The home could have been better maintained. While it was generally acceptable, there were noticeable issues like missing tiles in the showers and a nail sticking up on a door threshold. The beds were also very uncomfortable, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.Was the vacation rental management staff helpful?Yes, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were responsive and made an effort to assist with any needs, which was definitely a highlight of the experience

Though we had a great time in Seaside, I was disappointed in the lack of maintenance on this property. There was mold on the verandah and the floor in the twin bedroom was buckled. Both could be dangerous. I hope you will add a key pad, or offer more than one key for a family of four.
