About this cottage rental
You will find everything you need in the house, such as a nicely stocked kitchen, linens, laundry, and wifi, while you experience the charm of Hot Springs and the proximity to all this area has to offer. From the cottage, you will be able to walk to the Appalachian Trail less than 1/4 mile from the house, natural hot springs spa (The Hot Springs Resort and Spa, one of the only on the Eastern side of the country), local brewery (top tier beer and tacos in a fun outdoor setting), famous local diner, restaurants, and more (rafting on the French Broad River). If you have more of an adventure up your sleeve, you can get to many other trails and destinations along with Asheville in less than an hours drive.
The cottage includes 1 spacious bedroom with a King-sized bed. There is a bathroom with a large garden tub and shower combo. The living room has views over the creek and a gas fireplace with a Smart TV for streaming your favorite channels. The kitchen is spacious and offers everything you need to eat in if you choose. Fiber optic internet service has been added so that guests have the best internet option in town. We would love to host you at the Blue Heron Cottage.
The cottage rental allows pets with an additional fee. We limit pets to dogs under 60 pounds and 1 dog per rental period.
Hot Springs is a great destination in all seasons! The weather is mild and roads are tended in the winter time. The Hot Springs Spa is open year-around for hot mineral soaks. Restaurants and shops are open as well, and we love to hike the Lover's Leap trail on cool, sunny days when things are a bit quieter around here.
Summer is a wonderful season to enjoy many things to do outside, including rafting and tubing and venturing up to Max Patch Bald.
Spring sees beautiful mountain wildflowers and hikers traveling through on the Appalachian Trail.
Fall never disappoints with endless potential to see the trees changing at different elevations and finishing your day with a fire and soak in the natural hot springs or a beer at Big Pillow Brewing.
