This cottage was perfect for my family while we stayed in Hot Springs! Everything was easy to find, very clean, and very comfortable. There were books and movies and games in the home. My youngest especially loved the Monopoly game! It’s super close to the middle of town, and the walk to town is easy and really pretty! We would definitely look into renting again when we come back.

Really enjoyed our stay with this host, despite the fact that there was a snafu with the booking (we didn't actually get to stay in this cottage, but stayed in a different house further from town). The host was apologetic and accommodating, and we would book this cottage again. The alternative lodging was several miles out of town on a gravel road near the French Broad River--so, it was lovely, isolated, and serene. This house was tricky to find but really nice once we found it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Trailside. We loved sitting on the porch looking at the mountains, hiking the AT, and walking to town to eat. Trailside Cottage was super clean, and provided all the kitchen and bathroom amenities that we needed. The hot tub was a wonderful and relaxing end to each day of hiking. We will certainly be returning in the future.

well equipped, had everything we needed. Cold and damp when we arrived. House has a musty smell. Could benefit from the attention of a handyman. Front door takes some work to get it securely closed, heating vents are rusty, some are hanging loose. Steps to get into the hot tub. I was unable to get in, if you're 5"4' and a little chonky like me. Owner was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat, things to do in the area.
