All are within walking distance, making the Blue Heron one of the most convenient locations to stay while you are in town. Our second time here, we love this place, and like that we can feel very secluded on the back deck overlooking the creek but also easily walk downtown.

This cottage was so beautiful we had a hard time leaving to see the sights. It’s perfectly furnished. It overlooks a bend in Spring Creek which I could look at for hours. Our Cockapoo loved the fenced in deck where she could view all the nature safely contained. It’s right in town and fully equipped. We walked by it for years while we were camping, and now we had the joy of experiencing it.

Accommodations were fine. However, the problem with the smoke alarm was very disruptive, and cause us to lose a nights sleep. As I stated, the alarm began chirping around 1:00 am. It continued to chirp at 15 minute intervals until the owner arrived around 9:00 am. Needless to say, we were extremely tired. This affected our activities for the rest of the day. We believe that we should receive a rebate for a portion of our rental payment.
