About this house rental
This home is walking distance to the beach and has four bedrooms and two baths. For bike week we are limiting 4 bikes on the property, including guests. A master suite, and two bedrooms on the other side of the house. In the back of the house by the pool entrance is another bedroom with a sitting room. We offer washer and dryer, a garage, and a screened in pool. We have an open floor plan with a roomy kitchen, dining room and large living room and a separate sitting area. This is fully equipped with all towels, linens, utensils, pots and pans and dishes, coffee pot and all the appliances. The fridge is nice and All the Beach towels you need and chairs, plus a little wagon to take it all down to the beach, which is at the end of the road. This house is located on a quiet street, where you can ride bikes to the ocean on your left, and turn to the right and you can ride along John Anderson Drive along the Halifax river. There you can watch the sailboats cruise by on their way to the inlet or other destinations, Inside the house has lots of gathering places for your family to get together to eat, cook meals together and relax. Or lounge by the pool in the beautiful Florida sunshine, and think about your friends up north shoveling snow, or going to work! Come stay with us for your next vacation. Pets are welcomed with a pet fee of $250 per pet. Ormond Beach now has an area for your dog on the beach. The dog-friendly stretch of Ormond Beach will be between Rockerfeller Drive and Milsap Road.

Very old house, but clean

We spent a month in this house and were very pleased! It has a nice layout-very open floor plan. The outdoor patio area was nice, but being a mere 9 houses from beach or river in the other direction was wonderful! We watched sunrises by day and sunsets by night. We got to see several rocket launches while there as well. What we loved best was how quiet the neighborhood was around us! If you are a dog lover this area is for you--we walked with A LOT of fellow dog walkers on A1A (sidewalk right next to beach)---we watched dolphins swim along as we walked (dogs not allowed on the beach)

The home was accessorized nicely, beds were comfortable.
Pool was green 3 nights of my stay, had to spend a lot of time cleaning when we arrived before I would put food away, very poor housekeeping.
The door to the garage was coming out of the frame, a lot of lights did not work properly, the ice maker did not work we had to buy ice. I should have done more research on the distance to the beach was further than I thought.
