About this house rental
The “Backbord” half of the Fehmarn Beach House is spacious at approximately 75 m² and ideally suited for families of up to 5 people. Facing directly toward the sea (south), you can relax both on your terrace with a beach chair and on your balcony. From there, you can enjoy the view of the Fehmarnsund and the Fehmarnsund Bridge. Whether as a couple or with little “sailors”—here you’ll find relaxation all year round with a view of the open sea and the soothing sound of the waves.
A private parking space is available in front of the house, and additional (paid) parking options are also available. Behind the house, you’ll find a private sauna cabin, which belongs exclusively to the “Backbord” half of the house.
The accommodation features 2 bedrooms. On the upper floor, you’ll find the master bathroom with a bathtub; on the first floor, there is an additional restroom.
Underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth in the bathrooms and living areas, while the wood-burning stove in the living room creates a cozy atmosphere. The open-concept kitchen-living room, furnished with original Arne Jacobsen lamps, blends harmoniously into the overall design. “Backbord” is bathed in light, as the Danish wooden-mullioned windows let in plenty of natural light.
Eco-friendly paints and clay plaster were used throughout the house, ensuring that even those with allergies can relax here comfortably. Due to these high-quality finishes, pets are unfortunately not permitted in “Backbord.”
The use of historic building materials—such as old half-timbering and wooden floorboards—as well as custom pieces by artists and artisans from the North lend the house a unique charm. No detail was left to chance.
The modern, vintage-style furnishings combine coziness with high-quality design. A rattan seating area, comfortable armchairs, and vintage furniture in light tones—all in a classic beach house style.
Bed linens and towels are included in your booking price, and the beds are already made upon your arrival, so you can start relaxing right away!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage direkt am Naturstrand, die Sauna und die geschmackvolle Einrichtung waren ausschlaggebend. Eine genauere Beschreibung des 5. Bettes hätte uns geholfen… so musste unsere jugendliche Tochter im Wohnzimmer schlafen. 😉

Ein schönes Ferienhaus in hervorragender Lage. Für uns auch bei mäßigem Wetter im November sehr gut zu nutzen, mit geschmackvoller und komfortabler Ausstattung um sich wohl zu fühlen. Die Sonnenauf- und -untergänge waren phantastisch.
