About this apartment rental

Numerous restaurants and decorated house facades ("Lüftlmalerei") showcase the diversity and tradition of this district. Just a few minutes away from the apartment, you will find the traffic-calmed zone with many small stores and cafés.

Arrive and feel at home - you'll do just that as soon as you enter this renovated apartment. Bold blue walls in the hallway, combined with golden pictures and an impressive chandelier, create a cozy and warm living atmosphere.

Up to 7 people can spend their vacation in the "Steinwild" apartment, also as a travel group or club excursion.

The apartment has plenty of seating in any case: two large sofas offer space for all guests. There is also a Swedish stove in the living area, so you can end the day in a convivial atmosphere and enjoy a nice get-together. Are you more of a sun worshipper and want to enjoy as much fresh air as possible? Then the spacious balcony is just right for you. Thanks to a canopy, you can also linger outside comfortably during a refreshing summer shower.
Of course, the apartment is also equipped with a kitchen. All the necessary kitchen appliances such as a dishwasher, stove with oven and a fridge are available. The adjoining dining area is very spacious, so that all guests can be seated at the table at the same time.

Private wellness moments are also guaranteed during your vacation: One of the two bathrooms is equipped with a free-standing bathtub. You will find a shower in the second bathroom, so all your wishes can be fulfilled. Of course, toilets and washbasins are available in both rooms.

The 3 bedrooms ensure a restful night's sleep: one bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedroom number 2 has a double bed and a single bed and the 3rd bedroom is furnished with two single beds. So everyone will find a suitable retreat and be well rested for the next day of their vacation.

A reserved parking space is available in the backyard. Of course, your pet is also very welcome!

This apartment was occupied by 4 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 4) for 6 nights. We felt safe. No noise from other renters. Great location/walkability. The living room had no direct windows, but the balcony made up for it. Plenty of outlets. Big kitchen/dining room with modern working appliances. Plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking equipment made fixing our own meals easy! Since we Americans are spoiled by having air conditioning, larger fans in every room would have been appreciated. Even though the apartment was dated, it was very clean and had plenty of cupboards for our use.

Very well heated, very clean and spacious apartment. Great location; very quiet and few steps from the bus stop. Easily can accommodate two families with children or 6 adults. It was sufficient in terms of amenities and household appliances. Very easy and fast correspondence with the management company. Overall a big recommend for anyone considering to stay in this property.

The location is good, with bus stops outside the front door and several nearby restaurants. Two grocery stores (Rewe, Netto) are walkable. Train station is walkable, although not currently operational. The rental agency is quite a distance from the train station, so if you arrive by transit, you will have quite a walk to pick up/drop off your keys. Appreciated a dedicated parking spot behind the unit, although it does require unlatching a gate when coming/going and navigating a tight drive, plus walking back around to the front of the unit and up a flight of dark winding stairs with any bags. The laundry in the unit is in a basement two floors below the unit, shared by multiple apartments. Of the 3 washers, 2 appeared to be working. Of 2 two dryers, 1 appeared to be working, but it dried poorly so we had to use the manual drying racks on the back porch. The apartment has good views of the mountains off the back porch, but the porch furniture was uncomfortable and had sad cushions. Bugs were not too much of a problem in the unit with windows open (no a/c, no screens), although some flies appeared to come in late in the week off of the unattended and quite full trash bins behind the unit. The unit can get hot during the day, but we found if you close it up, the cool from the night air stays in for quite awhile, and we bought a fan and left it for future guests since the owner and rental agency did not offer any fans for the unit. The rental agency only provided one towel and one hand towel per guest for a week which was sparse. The starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels was also sparse, but not unexpected for this type of rental. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to cook. The unit could use ice trays for the freezer. The living room is laid out awkwardly with only one seat that actually faces the television. The furniture is dated and relatively uncomfortable. The bedrooms are small, dark, and crowded with equally dated furniture and mattresses. The rental agency could do better with the bedding. The child's room with two twins came with two unwrapped comforters/blankets that previous guests slept under. Gross. The two bathrooms are acceptable. One has no windows/venting and gets hot. The bathtub with hand wand is not the easiest to use for washing. The shower in the other bath has a defective hand wand that points toward the wall, not the person in the shower. Overall, decent value for the money and location.

We loved the location of this large apartment, easy to walk to many restaurants and bakeries, and having the use of the washer/dryer in the basement when on an extended vacation was very handy. The views from the back balcony of the mountains was nice. Lots of water pressure and hot water in the bathrooms. If you are only 4 people but plan to sleep in all 3 bedrooms be sure to mention that with your reservation, we had to ask for covers for the comforter and pillows which they did provide timely. The emailed instructions prior to our arrival was very nice and answered most questions.
