Edinburgh Royal Mile 1 Bedroom Apartment Based in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, a short walk from Edinburgh Castle, you will experience historic Edinburgh at its finest! Beautifully finished nordic style apartment, close to Edinburgh Castle and The Holyrood Palace.
A variety of Edinburgh buses and Waverley Train station is about 5 to 10 minutes walk. Fast internet, smart home, fully functioning kitchen and washing machine available will make your perfect city break in Edinburgh.
The Apartment is in one of the closes on the Royal Mile.
What makes us unique is that due to our location a few minutes walking distances from Waverly Station, tucked in a historic Royal Mile Close and feels miles away from all the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile and its restaurants and bars.
We are a 1 bedroom apartment for two people with a well equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and hob, Lavazza Pod coffee machine etc), a custom built window seat and living area and 1 large bedroom with UK standard double size bed and a nordic hanging wardrobe. There is a shower room with an electric shower with a heated towel rack and a separate toilet.
We are located on the Third Floor of the building. The building is over 80 years old with historical characteristics and staircase design. Please prepare for the stairs.
Our apartment on Royal Mile has all the essentials to make your city break perfect include:
Flat screen TV with Chromecast, unlimited WIFI, towels and linens, hairdryer and toiletries, umbrella(!) and kitchen supplies. If there is anything else that not on this list, then please just ask!
Check in time around 3pm but we are flexible
Check out time 11am
2 night minimum stay at weekends (please note we cannot accommodate arrivals/departures on a Saturday)
Min 3 night stay during the August, Christmas period apply to check in date 23rd and 24th December, and the Marathon Weekend
Min 4 night stay over New year
Due to the central location, you are in the heart of the Old Town so public transport is not really required, however you are minutes away from a variety of bus routes all over the city.
The Waverly Train Station is about 5 to 10 minutes walk.
The Edinburgh Hop on Hop off tour bus are 5 walk.

The flat was conveniently located. The flat had all the basics we needed and communication with the owner was very good. Not a good place for older adults. The close was dirty with garbage and vomit. The stairs to the flat were dimly lit concrete stairs that were also filthy.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location. We stayed here for four nights, and had a great time. The location could not be better. We were able to walk everywhere. Very comfortable bed. Huge bath towels. Lots of steps — flat is on 4th floor — but that didn’t bother us… and very common in Europe. Could be challenging for someone with mobility issues.Good communication with owner.My only (very minor) suggestion for improvement is to add more hangers. There were about six, but would like to see lots more since there is no dresser in the bedroom.Highly recommend this flat!!
