About this apartment rental
Elena’s Apartment is an apartment in Funchal old town with a terrace that has been completely renovated to a more modern and welcoming style. It is located on the third floor (it has a lift) and consists of a double bedroom with a private bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with two single beds and another bedroom with a sofa bed. All bedrooms have their own wardrobe. In addition to the private bathroom, it also has a shared bathroom with a shower. It also has a hairdryer. The living room has a modern TV, a box with several TV channels at your disposal and fast WiFi Internet with 200Mbps.
In the kitchen you will find everything you need for the basic preparation of your meals. Like:
- Fridge;
- Freezer;
- Stove;
- Oven;
- Microwave;
- Toaster;
- Kettle;
- Dolce Gusto coffee machine;
- Cutlery and other basic kitchen utensils, such as pans, wine glasses;
- Dishwasher.
- Between others.
Next to the kitchen we also have a laundry room, with a washing machine, an iron and a drying rack.
In order to provide a great stay, we provide all towels and bed linen.
In addition to the Apartment, a free private parking space is also available in the garage.~
We also have a transfer service at your disposal.
For arrivals between 22:00 and 07:00, a late check-in fee of 30 EUR will be applied.

Got locked out on the deck - a system that doesn’t let you close the sliding door without it locking strikes me as dangerous. Insufficient supply of garbage bags & toilet paper and no face cloths. No instructions for using the intercom system or in the event of a fire or alarm. Please know that despite those observations, I would recommend this property and I would stay there again. Thank you.

The apartment was perfect as described. Very clean, beautifully appointed, and spacious . Comfortable beds and bedding.
I was disappointed to find check in a bit complicated in that we were asked to pick up the keys at an off site office building lockbox. Having no car rental we had to taxi then make our way to the apartment. A video was sent to show how to get into the apartment.
Regarding location, very central, close enough to the main avenue. Easily walkable to old town. Only downside is the children’s school across the street which is noisy on weekdays from around 8-6:30 pm.
