We love the setting of this charming cottage, close to the historic town centre and perfect for exploring this wonderful part of North Dorset.. Ground Floor:

The cottage itself is a is pretty Grade II listed thatched cottage and offers great accommodation for couples or families looking to enjoy everything this wonderful location has to offer. The spacious living room with wood burner is the perfect place to relax after a day’s exploring and the large kitchen/dining room is an ideal spot to grab a drink whist cooking. The bedrooms are over located on first and second floors with two doubles and a room with bunks - perfect for the kids! The cottage offers direct access to the countryside footbaths that criss-cross the Blackmore Vale, the beautiful setting for Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles.
