Snobs and Rebels Apartments

Lovely tucked away cottage, surprisingly spacious and with it’s own style. Great location at the centre of Shaftesbury. Good shower.

WiFi service was variable but that was only a problem for our teenage daughters.

I absolutely loved the decor, the size of the apartment and its location. The facilities were also great. Everything we needed was there, including tea and coffee, even books to read. We really enjoyed our stay there.

On our first night, there was a lot of noise and loud music coming from the room right below our bedroom, making it impossible to sleep.

Location to the centre of the town

Bedding in need of renewal. Lumpy pillows & badly felted bed sheet. Sofas uncomfortable to sit on to watch tv.

Excellent location. Very well equipped apartment. Comfortable beds. Very kind hostess who went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Also loved the quirkiness.

Quirky

Kitchen and dining facilities inadequate Bench in kitchen uncomfortable, no sitting room area Bathroom mirror far too big and off putting, water from shower spreads across the bathroom floor so one ends up sitting in the toilet with wet feet! Parking arrangements very stressful, too many big vehicles for size of parking space. Felt the space allocated to the Snobs apartment put the car at risk of damage from other cars leaving the property.

Location in the town centre

Problem with the shower draining which was resolved the next day. Lack of shower gel. Lack of kitchen utensils. I have stayed at Snobs previously (in another unit) and was very happy with it. But on this occasion the accommodation was not to our liking, no real seating area and rather cramped. Rather expensive for what it offered.

Amanda is really friendly and helpful as one of the apartments was unavailable a couple of days before the day. She quickly sourced an alternative cottage for one of the couples which turned out to be the best one. ... that cottage was a 5 star review. Snobs has a great location

The apartment wasn't the cleanest but ok. The parking was a nightmare as warned and Amanda did her best to resolve everything. We weren't expecting the music on site which made relaxing between our fringe gigs difficult.... But accept it was fringe

Location was excellent, parking very good and host superb.

The seating was limited and uncomfortable, the room was superficially clean but under and behind things was dirty, it needs a deep clean. Very limited cooking facilities.

Extremely spacious, interesting decor, and a great location.

The flat was in a fantastic location, with good instructions and directions to the property and how to get the keys etc, the flat was very quirky , beds were ok as was sitting in the lounge, would definately book again

Facilities for dining and seating to watch TV. The height of the sink. The height of ALL seating. This made for a very uncomfortable experience to sit and eat or watch TV. We looked at previous reviews and this has been mentioned many times before. The owners need to do something about this. The allocated parking space was very tight.

Clean and spacious accommodation. Location was brilliant - just off the High Street. We were able to leave the car at the location after checkout to go into town, thanks to the host’s permission.

Had a lovely stay here. Superb accommodation. Every need catered for. Would highly recommend for comfort and location. Have rebooked for our next visit already.

1 night stay. The heating was on when we arrived, which was very welcoming. Pillows were very comfortable. Very quirky and unusual place which we liked. The owners have tried to use the best of all the old reclaimed features, which I'm sure makes it harder to keep clean, but very cleverly done. The little extra were very much appreciated, eg., Tea, coffee, milk sasha's etc... & bathroom toiletries. Free WiFi with password easily accessible. We would go again.

Parking was tight & we struggled a bit with finding our apartment even with write instructions. Pleased it was still daylight when we arrived. Local home owners were very friendly & helpful. Only a microwave for cooking, which was not a problem for 1 night, as we eat at the hotel, but it would put me off staying any longer than a few nights. Which was not made clear in the information online for our particular apartment. However, fine for basic breakfast etc... Also, for a woman, there were no toilet disposal bags, but there was a bin in loo. There is not a lot of communal space in the kitchenette/lounge area & most things seem to be made for tall people! 😂 A handle on the bin would be useful. You can hear the people above walking about & on the gravel courtyard outside. However, I still had a good night's sleep.

Quirky and central to Shaftesbury. Parking is tight and unlit at night. Neighbouring shop was a bit noisy, noticeable because the location was so quiet. Mirror in the bathroom is interesting. Bed generally comfortable and location ideal for exploring the area.

Unlit parking was challenging after biblical weather on our 5 hour journey. Had a little escape room challenge finding the property. Once through the door we were fine. A welcome pack would have been useful but plenty of choice for breakfast and UHT milk sachets and coffee useful.

Location was excellent. Andy the host was amazing. Wasn't an oven in the apartment. So he took my lasagne and warmed it up in his oven for me.

Really clean, well set up and right in town - easy to walk anywhere.

Not really the property, but it happened to be right beside the night party and fireworks at the festival. Hasn't been aware this was on until we arrived so it was very noisy around the property, especially our second night. Not the owners fault, but be aware of anything else going on nearby!
