About this house rental
Love to ski? Like to hike? Own a bike? Do you grill? Can you identify birds by a tweet or twitter? If you answered yes to any or all of those questions, we have the place for you. Welcome to Ski Hive! This lovely one-level home is centrally located in Canaan Valley and provides easy access in every season. Winter visitors will LOVE the short walk to the high-speed lifts at Timberline Mountain. No need to look for a parking space or a locker to store your really is that close! In every season Ski Hive provides a central location for anything Tucker County. It is a short drive to Davis, Thomas, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Resort. Dolly Sods, White Grass and Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge are all just a hike, bike, or short drive away. At the end of the day return to "the Hive" to relax and unwind. A well-stocked kitchen makes meal prep easy and the lovely screened in porch makes mealtimes a pleasure. In winter gather around the fireplace to recap the day's events. Year-round scan the stars from the outdoor hot tub. Ski 're going to like it here!

Easy booking and check in process. great set-up for 2 families sharing home with 2 bedrooms at opposite ends of home. Good location, but tough walk (up a steep incline out the back to parking lot) Well stocked kitchen, lots of linens. Great Stay

The setup is ideal for accommodating multiple families, with plenty of space to gather and enjoy time together while still offering room for privacy when needed.One of the highlights is its unbeatable location—just a short walk to the lift at Timberline Ski Resort! It couldn’t be easier to hit the slopes and make the most of every ski day.The town of Davis, with its charming shops and excellent restaurants, adds so much to the experience. We also loved exploring nearby Thomas, which has its own unique vibe and fantastic dining options.The Ski Hive offers everything needed for a relaxing, fun, and memorable trip. The house was well organized for our crew and we lucked out and had lots of snow. The home has all you need to enjoy time on the mountain. The lady who plowed the driveway is awesome. We rotated our cars every night in the driveway and the new morning the snow was cleared. Thank you!
