About this house rental
4 min walk to private beach; fourth house from the ocean. This newly renovated home, in popular Hither Hills, comes with keyed access to the beautiful private beaches along Old Montauk Highway.
This charming, family-friendly house was completely gut renovated in 2021. Brand new appliances, quartz countertops, wine/beer fridge and spacious pantry to hold those much needed beach snacks. A peninsula with five counter stools and separate dining area that seats up to eight allows ample seating for guests - even if a few friends drop by. Rounding it all off is an open floor plan that seamlessly connects to the living room with brand new flat screen tv and spacious sectional.
The two full bathrooms are sparkling new: one with a bathtub perfect for those smallest of beach guests, the other offers a spacious walk-in shower. And of course, who wants to shower inside, when you can shower outside? The newly built outside shower is the perfect place to rinse the sand off or just enjoy nature while you get cleaned up before dinner.
Two generously sized bedrooms can be found on the main floor, both with queen beds, ample closet and dresser space and mounted flat screen tvs. Upstairs is the perfect beach house bunk room. Two dueling bunk beds accommodate four kids with a trundle upon request available for a fifth should you need it. Complete with bean bag chairs for extra seating / hanging out.
Outside on the new deck you'll find a gas grill and patio set perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning or relaxing dinner in the evening.

My friends and I have been renting in Montauk for 4 summers now and Matt/Heather's home is by far the best stay we have had. The house is a 4-minute walk from the private, stunning, and quiet Hither Hills Beach. We walked here every day with the beach chairs that the house provided. They also have private beach parking available if you prefer to drive the short distance with a cooler or any other heavier items.
The main floor is stunning and just as pictured. All the appliances are up to date and we were able to home-cook meals and use the outside BBQ often. An outdoor shower is always a plus too :)
Heather & Matt were amazing hosts! They truly let us enjoy our stay in peace but were always quick to respond if we ever needed anything along the way. Couldn't recommend staying here enough!

This was a wonderful stay, one of the best I’ve had in MTK! The owners are lovely and very communicative. The house is recently renovated, well appointed and stocked. It is exactly as described and pictured. Could not have been better - thank you!
