Le Méjanes T4

Great location-unique property-large and spacious. The stairs are steep (4flights) and a real challenge for older visitors or those not in shape. Artistic decor but a bit dark-and cleanliness was not the standard we expected. But we loved the walking distance to main streets and squares and beds and linens very good and comfortable.

This is a lovely place. It’s spacious and easily accommodated 4-6 adults. We made Aix our base for a 9-day stay while visiting our student studying abroad. The place was clean and comfortable. It was April so we didn’t need heat or AC- opening the windows was perfect. The few challenges we had were similar to others noted—This is in the ‘no car zone’ AND there are 4 flights of spiral stairs. So you do have to park elsewhere and get your luggage to/fro the apartment and up/down the stairs. We parked at a garage about 5-6 mins walk away. We cooked dinner here nearly every night. The place was reasonably equipped.We so wished there was a property guide. We had to write to the mgmt company for everything— how will we get/return keys, what to do with trash, etc. They were reasonably responsive but it’s so much easier when there is a guide writing out details in VRBO and/or at the property.Like others I’ve stayed at in France, be prepared there is very little AT the property. Enough TP maybe for your first night, about 1 ounce of dish soap… we had to buy salt and pepper, paper towels, we even bought 2 kitchen towels because only one was provided. But fairly typical both for France and for paid management properties (rather than owner managed). There is a basic grocery store a block away- hooray!The only weird thing-hot water was managed on a timer for energy efficiency. So after 9P it was possible to run out and not really have more til morning. Mgmt co confirmed this.

The apartment is wonderful! We especially enjoyed the rooftop patio. It is wthin walking distance of everything. The host was very responsive. We had a great experience and would highly recommend it!

I brought my family here to celebrate my 65 birthday. The apartment was beautiful but the management was very unresponsive. I There were 6 people and they left us 3 towels. It took 3 days of asking over and over to get 3 more. The air conditioning did not work and they never sent someone over to look at it. Even asking every day. It was 85 degrees out The bathrooms were very pretty but moldy. overall not with the money spent.
