I really appreciated that the host, Armelle, waited for us as our flight was delayed and the private transfer driver did not show up to drive us to Aix. The host was very thorough with explaining the amenities of the apartment.
It was not a big deal, but it is a common thing in Europe that you take out the trash to a community trash bin at the end of a street. This was easy to do but some people may find this odd if they haven’t traveled to Europe. The trash bin was located a very short distance to the apartment so it really was not an inconvenience since it was on the way to the parking garage.

Armelle was an amazing host who met me at the appartment and explained how everything worked. She even rang and organised a taxi for me on the day I left. The appartment was very clean and a great size in a wonderful location close to everything in the old town. It had great aircon in both the living and bedroom. It was very quiet and It wax lovely hearing the church bells ringing in the morning but they didn’t wake you up!!
