Welcome to Mermaid Tales #5- Wind Swept. This beautiful 1 bedroom offers a queen bed, ensuite with walk-in shower, also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The calming coastal hues decorated throughout assist in relaxation after a full day in the sun at the beach or around the pool. Curl up at the end of the day on the couch with a good movie. No need to dine out as there is a fully equipped kitchen available, or grab take out and eat around the table. Guests have access to the complex pool, shared washer and dryer, and other complex activities. Come make your favorite memories at Wind Swept.

Mermaid Tales is a multi-family complex that features 6 separate villas. Villas are available to rent separately or as a group. This complex shares a heated pool with a spill over spa, corn hole, and horseshoes are available for added entertainment. There are 12 beach chairs available for guests that are on a “first come, first serve” basis and are not assigned to any specific unit. The short walk to the beach is only 530 yards away. Times Square is less than a mile from the complex. Guests can find entertainment, shopping, and dining all within the Times Square area.
Area Activities:
Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! We have a 2 year old and the pool was perfect for him. The property was very clean and check in was fast and easy.

The location was fantastic! Close to a convenience store, the tram and trolley and public beach access. There were also a handful of restaurants nearby. That being said, it was a very quiet residential area. This was perfect for others in our complex with young children, or for those who want quiet at night. Our particular unit in our complex had the greatest location as the pool/hot tub area was literally out our front door! We had 3 adults in our group and the couch was very comfortable! I highly recommend this property, and especially this unit.

Upsides: excellent location, easy & excellent parking, pool/hot tub, easy access to unit, great instructions for arrival entry, nice couch
Downsides: shared laundry (this was not specified & would have stayed elsewhere if known) inadequate cups/pans (only 1 coffee cup, no frying pan, cheap plastic drinking glassses) no local tv for free Super Bowl (had to pay to watch), bed was on the ground/no box spring (not specified in listing details).
